How long did 0-3 months last for your LO?
We are starting to get a few items, but I'm wondering how long until he will be in 3-6 month?
SO hard knowing how big he will be without him being here.. at my last US they said his legs are really long, if that means anything!

Probably 3 or 4 months. We only moved up to 3-6 cause of the length.

S is 6wks old and is still in newborn clothing. She's 9th percentile, so we could be in 0-3mth for a long time when she finally gets there! My u/s was pretty accurate, she had short legs then and did when she came out.

She was in 0-3 longer than she was in 3-6. She's 4 months and is already in 6 month + up right now.

I think he was in them for around 3 months. Xander also has long legs, so while his torso continued to fit in 0-3 onesies, we moved onto 3-6 sleepers (which is what he pretty much lives in).

Looong time. I think it's best to have a bit of each size and then add when necessary. It'll be impossible to plan for sure.

At 6 weeks I started to pack away 0-3 months but he was born weighing over 10 pounds and totally skipped newborn.

LO was in newborn for about 3 weeks...she is 6 weeks now and her 0-3 sleepers are getting tight in length. The 0-3 clothes (onesies, pants etc) still fit her fine. She was 7lb15oz at birth and is 10lb14oz now!

oh lord, i somehow missed that "newborn" is even a size!!! so do I need to get a few newborn things too? It's so hard to know. I was born late and was only 6lbs 4 ounces, DH was on time and about 7lbs, this babe is measuring long.. but who knows how big he will be or if I will have him early/late!

@Mrs. Champagne: lol! I wouldn't necessarily go on your/your dh's birth weights... I was 9lbs 1oz on my due date and S came out at 6lbs 12oz a day early. I didn't realise "Tiny Baby" was a size until she arrived!! I was convinced I would birth a big baby, especially as she didn't seem to be coming early, so we had like a couple of newborn items and the rest 0-3mths. The sleepsuits we put her in in the hospital on the first day were huge! The next day we went off to stock up on tiny baby (up to 7lbs) sized stuff. Actually she still wears some tiny baby suits now and she's just over 8lbs.
It's tough. I think in hindsight, I would have got a few newborn, mostly 0-3mth and plan to send someone out for more when she arrives if you need the newborn. Or, leave it until a couple weeks before your due date and get lots of newborn and return anything you don't use!

She'll be 3 months on Sunday and is still in 0-3 months. I think she'll be in them for another 2-3 weeks (and she's 72% for height).

She was on NB for about a month, then 0-3 for 3ish months. 3-6 for like a week, then 6+ forever!

DS was born small (4lbs 13oz) since he's an IUGR baby. He's 15 weeks and is in 0-3 months still. I think he'll be in them for a bit longer, maybe a month before getting into 3-6 months.

I had a big baby 8.10lbs so we skipped the newborn & wore size 0-3 for about 6 weeks. She wore 3-6 months for a while. Now at 6 months, she is wearing 9 months or 6-12 months, depends on the brand too.

About 3 months. We skipped newborn size for the most part. She was born 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 inches.
ETA: Since then he usually moves up a size about a month before that size - i.e. she was in 6 month clothing at 5 months. She is almost 11 months and 12 month clothing is pretty big on her.

I think he fit in 0-3 til he was about 4 months. He was 7lbs 11oz at birth, 9lbs 2oz at 1 month, and 11lbs2oz at 2 months. He didn't start wearing 0-3 til he was about 4 wks though.

About 4 months. 0-3 from 1-5 months. 3-6 from 4-8 months. Some months overlap. And things just generally become shorter (capris or 3/4 sleeves) but still fit in width.

He can still fit in some 0-3. But at 11 weeks he is already over 14lbs and 24inches in length. All of his sleepers are 3 months and up. We had a lot of hand me downs and some nb sizes but he didn't get to wear all of them at all. There are even some 0-3 that he only got to wear once.

for about a month. He was in newborn for about 4 weeks, then 0-3 months until he was 2 months. He was 7 lbs 7 oz at birth and 13 lbs at 2 months.

We started putting her in 0-3 months when she was born and moved her up to 3-6 when she was about 2 months old (she's always been really long). We moved her to 6-9 months when she was 4 months old. Most of her stuff didn't fit because of length though.

LO wore newborn for maybe three weeks, and at 2.5 months is outgrowing the 0-3. But we cloth diaper, which adds some bulk as well. At her 2 month check up she was 50% for height and 60% for weight.

Until she was 4-5 months, but it really varies hardcore by brand. My DD is 16 months old and can still wear some 3-6 months things from H&M, Next etc.

Mine's 3 months on Saturday, and we're just starting to retire a few of the smaller 0-3 sleepers just due to length. Everything else is still good though. But she also "fits" in some of her 3-6 stuff, and some I put on her just because I bought very little warm 0-3 even though it's a little big.

We are still wearing 0-3 months tops, and DD is 15 weeks. We are now exclusively in 3 or 3-6 month bottoms and sleepers because she's quite long. It really depends on the brand, and whether the clothes tend to be long and lean, or short and wide.
