Most of my friends said their older toddlers were very into their new siblings for the first 4-6 weeks before they got bored with newborn routines....was this the case for your LO?

Ooh I want to know to! Right now we're at 4 weeks and DD is still very into her little sister and wants to help. My friend said her daughter didn't show signs of jealousy until 2 months.

We are at 6.5 weeks. He still totally loves his brother and wants to help, but his behavior kind of turned a corner a week ago. Lots more whining/crying/yelling. But he doesn't necessarily connect it to baby.

We are at 2.5 weeks and he is still very much into the baby and in the honeymoon phase. Hoping it lasts a lil while longer!

E was jealous but good for about 2 weeks, then got kinda nasty for a few weeks (hitting, pulling, throwing stuff at him), then settled in nicely. He's 11 weeks old and she's been good with him for awhile now!

Mine was happy for an hour? Then got super jealous and angry for 8 weeks, and is now back to being into the baby most of the time. She's 2.

@blackbird: This is more along the lines of what I'm expecting with my son who is 2. When I read honeymoon period, I was like, "What? There are toddlers who are happy to have a sibling?" Haha

we are 6 months in and still doing really well. I thought that B would absolutely hate having a sister, but she has accepted her really nicely.
