DD is turning one in less than a month and I'm trying to decide how long I should plan on holding the party.

we rented out kidville (like gymboree), and they rent it by the hour and a half.

I dont remember exactly, but it was at our house and people stayed a long time. We ate, opened presents, did cake, played a bit, then lo napped and they still stayed.

I voted 3 hours only because I think that's how long my LO's party lasted. We held the party at home and people started to trickle in and out as their schedule permitted. At one point my LO had to take a nap, but guests were still here when he woke up.

DS's parties usually last about 2-3 hours. I put 2 hours on the invite but by the time all the kiddos are picked up it's closer to 3.

We had my LO's first birthday at our house (about 50 people) and it started at 3:00 and most people had gone by 6:00

Ugh... I put 11-3 on his invitation and I regret it. I wish I had done 2 or 3 hours instead. His party is on Monday and I hope people come late and leave right after cake.

We ha a party at the park at 2pm. People ended up leaving once the sun started going down, so it lasted maybe 4ish hours.
