We got to the hospital at 3pm and when they checked me I was at 7 cm. Labored in the tub for a few hours and started pushing at 6pm. However I was complete for a little while before I got out of the tub to push.

I got to the hospital at 1:30am and at 8cm. Two hours later I was at 10cm. I labored at 10cm for about 4-5 hours with no urge to push. Finally midwife suggested epi+pitocin in order to get baby moving. Pushing took over 3 hours, eventually needed vacuum assist. Baby born at 1:27pm.

Less than 10 minutes with my second. Not quite sure with my first somewhere around 20 minutes before it was time to push.

Probably about 2 hours to go from 7-10 with my first. With my second I went from 5cm to delivered in 33 minutes. It was intense.

I went from 5cm to 10cm and ready to push in about 35 mins

Less than 15 minutes with my 2nd LO. My whole labor was 45 minutes.

15 minutes? But I had prodromal labor. At 12:30 am I wasn't in labor and was 3 cm. At 1am my water broke. At 2am was 8 cm and by 2:30am I was complete and pushing.

@yellowbird: this exactly. About 2 hours with my first. The second time I progressed from 6 to 10 cm in about 5 minutes!

I got past 3cm around noon-ish and started to push at 9pm. So I'd say I was at 7cm maybe by 6pm?

I had two precipitous deliveries. With my first, I went from 2cm to 10cm in 1.5hrs. With my second, I went from 4cm to 10cm in 30 minutes.

Around 3.5-4 hrs?

Maybe an hour? My sense of time was so distorted during labor. I was 7 centimeters when we got to the hospital, and believe that I was in transition on the drive over. By the time I got to my room, I felt the urge to push. I had a very short labor though--7 hours start to finish.

Wow, I have no idea. With my first I had an epidural so I don't really remember transition specifically. With my second I do remember but had no concept of time. An hour probably? My midwife broke my water I remember, and her shift ended about 45 m before I delivered.

Lo1 - took 10 mins from being checked at 5cm to baby being born.

Lo2 - I was checked once at 8cm and baby was born an hour later.

2 hours. I labored down for an hour and then I pushed for 3 hours.

I don't think I fit that! I was 6 when we got to the hospital, but I puked at home and things got crazy, so I think I hit transition then. It wasn't long, but labor was 4.5 hours from "maybe something's up" to baby's arrival, so...

I went from 2.5 cm to 10 in about an hour or less. It was killa!

12 hours. It was unmedicated due to complications, not choice. It was horrible.

With my first I was induced, epidural at 6cm and they turned the Pitocin off at that point. He was born within 2 hours or so.

With my second I was checked at my 40 week appointment at 4 cm and deemed early labor. He was also born in just about 2 hours from that point - so no clue how long actual transition lasted but not very long!
