We packed it all up and used everything again for #2. I think it was worth it

I have kept everything and I'm glad I did because I have 3 boys and I've been able to reuse everything. We thankfully have storage in our basement for everything. I also got hand me downs from my SIL and neighbor.

We kept all of it - clothes, jumperoo, bouncy chairs, swings, bottles, etc. it's so worth it now that we're expecting LO2 in a couple months. We won't be able to reuse all the clothes because we're having the opposite gender, but there's so much we don't have to buy this time around.

We live in an apartment so we've gotten rid of a lot of stuff as he outgrew it. We'll just have to rebuy I guess. But I'm hoping we'll be more streamlined the 2nd time around (if there is a 2nd time. That's the thing, we may be one and done and it is hard justifying all of the real estate baby stuff takes up if we might not even have another).

We kept everything and I'm glad I did - we have a 2 year spacing so the stuff didn't spend much time in storage before it was time to haul it out again.

But it is sooo nice this time to donate/sell stuff as dd2 outgrows it. On the very off chance that we have a third, I will just buy the bare minimum

We kept everything but the swing because dd1 hated it. We ended up buying a FP snuggabunny that dd2 loved.

We're also in a house with basement so plenty of storage.

We kept just about all the clothes, which has worked it since we had another girl. We kept bigger items like bouncy seat and swing at my parents house (I may have threatened my dad that if they couldn't store it we wouldn't have another baby ). We lent out a bunch of stuff too, to friends with younger babies, like the jumperoo, puffy snow suits, etc.

After this baby, likely our last, in packing stuff up and giving it to my little sister who is pregnant. She will find out the sex in a few weeks which will be helpful to know what to keep for her!

My general thinking for big bulky things was how hard will it be to clean it if I buy it used. So the snap and go, I bought used for $30, figures I could sell it again for the same price and buy another used one when we had number 2, hardly any clean up. But the used jumperoo was sort of a pain to clean so I'd rather store it someplace for the in between time.

We kept pretty much everything but we have storage space in the basement. When my son was 15 months my husband went on a decluttering kick and was trying to get rid of stuff because "we're probably not having a second and if we do we can rebuy stuff". I talked him down to just the bassinet stand and the extra bouncy chair. Two months later I got pregnant again so I'm glad I did. Looking forward to not having to store the exersaucer, it takes up so much room!

We only have one so far who is 3. I've gotten rid of most of the clothes except some special and favourite outfits. We've kept crib, stroller, car seat, change table but gotten rid of things like bassinet, swing, bouncy seat, baby tub. Got rid of baby toys too.

I will replace the things I want, but we had too much for DS. Some things I gave to my sister and the rest I gave away to a coworkers daughter.

I kept everything (2 girls) except sold my single stroller and got a double. My kids are 2.5 years apart.

We are keeping everything but worn/stained clothes. But we have a giant basement. No LO2 in the works yet. Different kids like different things so I don't want to get rid of things like the swing that T did not like.

@Eko: I'm in the same boat as you. LO is 1 tomorrow! So, I got rid of clothes as she outgrew them. I gave them to a lady in my building who adopted a baby girl two weeks younger than M, with zero notice. She'd been trying to adopt for 4 years after 3 years infertility. She got the call on a Friday to fly out to TX, for her little girl on Sunday. So, she got tons and tons of M's clothes. Figure baby clothes are inexpensive, and I didn't mind at all passing them along. We are taking down the swing this weekend, and plan to keep it.

We have 3 strollers (jogging, umbrella, and uppa baby) and that to me is more of the wtf. If we have two close together, I think we wil want a double stroller. All other baby gear- tub, bottles, etc, we plan to keep. Everything is pink too, and we plan to be team green next time. If it's a boy, we will get rid of stuff then.

ETA: we don't have a basement or attic either, so we are creative with space or take it to my parent's basement

I got PG when DD was 14 months, this babe is a boy so I have lots but need some new things

I'm getting rid of all the stuff that was super-easy to acquire secondhand. So, stuff like the infant bathtub, activity gym/mat, bottles and tons of pumping stuff, most of the clothing (keeping stuff that was purchased or given new), some of the toys.

I have loaned out some of the larger equipment. I am definitely keeping the "lifesaver" type items that would be harder to grab from Buy Nothing, like our cosleeper, our Snugabunny swing, the Miracle blankets, the Merlin suits.

I'm still making decisions about a bunch of stuff since we have limited storage in our garage for all of it, and we plan on waiting a few years before baby #2, and we have an extremely active Buy Nothing community so I feel comfortable that we'd be able to replace a bunch of it. Still though it does feel like it would be easier to just hang onto a lot of it.

We kept everything but the doorway hanger jumper and swing (both handme downs). LO hated them. I do want to buy a swing for this one, used.

If this baby isn't a girl, my next friend having a girl, is going to get a lot of clothes. So many tubs.

I saved everything and so far (baby #2 being almost 8 months old) I've used everything. My kids are 3 years apart and we stored everything up in our attic to keep it out of the way, and also moved all the stuff from one house to another!

Some of the stuff that LO #1 didn't love, LO #2 did, so that worked out well!

I've kept just about everything because we have lots of storage space in our house (attic, high shelves in our master closet, etc.). We aren't TTC#2 yet (LO#1 is 21mo) but are planning on probably 3 kids. The only things I've gotten rid of are the Magic Merlin suit (was not a lifesaver for LO#1 who barely wore it, sold it here on the classifieds) and some unused outfits/sippy cups (gave to a friend who unexpectedly got a foster child).

My sister and I have traded almost everything back and forth for our LOs... She had all the gear first for LO#1 (almost 6), gave it to me for my LO#1 (almost 3), I gave it back to her + more for her LO#2 (almost 2), and I'm assuming now it will come back to me for my LO#2 (still in utero). I'll admit it is nice to get everything out of the house but still know it will be available when I need it. I know we have both weeded out things like clothes that were very stained or ripped, but other than that, we kept it all!
