I have 1 maternity suit for this summer which has proved plenty.
Normally I have 2-3 going at once, sadly though I think all three are going to need to be replaced next year- even if they magically fit post baby.

Currently one tankini that proved to not have adequate coverage on top at the beach this weekend- no nip slips but it was very very close. So I will be buying a new one before our beach trip with all my inlaws in three weeks! I'm happy with a tankini though- more comfortable than a one piece but I can crouch and bend as needed which I wouldn't want to do in a bikini.

I usually just have one.
I don't have access to a pool and I only go to the beach a few times per summer (and I live an hour from the shore so I don't stay overnight) so I don't see the need in buying any more.

I work for a swimwear company so I have so many suits... But I really only like wearing the same 2!

2 bikinis. My boobs are super exposed in my other swimsuits because I had itty bitty boobs before. Never thought I'd have that problem - ever!

Right now I'm wearing my most frequently worn suit, one piece red & navy print from lands end. I have 4 others that are two piece that I mix & match. So five I guess, the one piece I wear most, then one of the brown tankini tops with whatever bottom would be next in line

I have different types based of what kind of tan I want (strapless, triangle, bandeau). I know this is a pre-pregnancy perk but I have about 5. I'm sure things will change when I get pregnant.

Two- a one piece from j.crew and a tankini/shorts from athlete. Usually wear the athlete one, as it's easiest to swim/chase my kid in without constantly having to readjust.

@raspberries: Yeah, when I get the VS catalog and see the semi annual sale, I want to get new suits but I have to remind myself that I don't think I'll wear my bikinis after giving birth.

@bluestriped bee: I feel your pain. I usually buy myself one new swimsuit during the semi-annual sale every year, and I'm trying to psych myself up to buy a (practical) one-piece next time around. Stretchmarks following pregnancy run in my family - I'm hoping I'll have the confidence to rock a bikini anyway, but yikes... we'll have to see.

1 from kohls and I'm super annoyed by the quality of it. It's already has seams pulling apart after less than 5 wears.

i have 3--two are bikinis and i haven't worn those in years. i have just been wearing my one-piece speedo with a rashguard to take LO to the pool.

I have 5 in current rotation although 1 one them gets worn way less than the rest. They're all bikinis of various styles. I'll need to buy a one piece for our babymoon in September. I want the option of covering up the belly.
I've been on the lookout but so far have not found a maternity one piece that I like. They are all cut SO conservatively. Just because I want to cover my stomach doesn't mean I want a huge butt cover and for it to be so low on my thigh it may as well be shorts! (ok, rant over.)

None that fit. I bought a new bikini when I was 17 weeks to fit my new pregnancy boobs
Fast forward to breastfeeding, postpartum boobs. HA. HA HA. HAHAHAHAHAHA
Hopefully I'll get one by the end of the summer!
