We read 4+ books a night. That doesn't include any books we read during the day or any books she reads at daycare. She has started wanting to read them to us, which is awesome. (Read=repeat what she has heard considering she is 3)

Not that many right now. Sometimes she will let me read 1-2 during the day but mostly she runs over and steals the book away and runs away lol. At bedtime she gets 2 books, which is the absolute max she will allow before running off haha.

LO has just started reading to us too, so cute! We read 3 a night, sometimes more throughout the day. So a minimum of 3.

LO is obsessed with flip the flap books so she will read all that we have right now which are 4!

I attempt to read a few to him. and by read I mean, read 2 pages before he grabs and starts chewing on them. He's only 12 months though so I figure a few pages is better than nothing. I have no idea what they do at daycare.

One for each of them at nap time, three for each at bedtime. They're both there for each others' books, so 8 plus daytime reading, but only 4 are age appropriate.

At the moment I read the same book approximately 15 million times before he goes to bed. It used to be 3-4 books but right now he will have nothing other than Toot Toot Beep Beep on repeat. And repeat.

2, before bed. She'd prefer more but she lolly gags around all evening and then we run out of time right before bed.
She reads constantly at daycare. She is frequently reading when I pick her up and she likes to show me the books she's reading there.

@gilmoregirl: Yeah our two books consist of one book of her choosing and then always Baby Beluga

We're probably at 20-30 a day at the moment, and that's just in the morning before daycare and the couple of hours between pick up and bed. He is 17 months now and OBSESSED with books. We usually do 5-10 "that's not my..." books in a row, then a couple of longer ones, a couple of Spot lift the flap books, and his favourite one called "the wonky donkey" at least 3 times in there. I feel like it's all we do! Then 2 or 3 before bed. He's learning to talk with new words every day and I think hearing us say the same words over and over again gives him confidence. All his new words are from our regular rotation books. I don't mind doing it at all!

2 at nap and 3 before bed plus whatever she asks me to read during the day.

1-2. DD is only 2.5 months old right now and doesn't seem to like it when I read to her. I really hope that changes because I love books!

We do one at bedtime. We read to her, then she reads to us. I couldn't imagine multiple books, it is a time consuming process. We also read longer books most nights.

He gets 2 before nap and 2 before bed. Plus anything else he wants to read throughout the day (which lately is none to 1 - he is too busy running and playing to sit still to read)

We do two stories at bedtime and one story at naptime, and then they hand me various books during the day. I would say we do about 10 or more a day. My 20 month old LOVES to read and will sit in the play room and flip through books for long periods of time. This will keep him entertained while the big ones are playing, it is so crazy to me!

1-2 when we get home from school and 2-4 before bed, depending on much he dawdles during dinner/bathtime. Always the same books. He reads constantly at preschool, too.

About 4 at nap and 4 at bed and usually a few more throughout the day. He LOVES books!

2 minimum at bedtime. She also reads with her nanny during the day and some nights I read to her when I get home from work.

She's a bookworm. 4 before bed. 4 before nap on weekends. 2 first thing in the morning. 3-10 in the evening, depending on what we're doing. Tons more on the weekend.

usually 3 for olive. for charlie we read longer chapter books so it depends on the book.

Usually 1-3. She's 4.5 months old. We don't always make it through a book since she gets angry when she tries to grab the pictures and there's nothing there to grab. Then she licks the pages to try to get the pictures into her mouth. I think all our non-board books have wrinkled spots from her saliva.

1-2
Always Goodnight Moon before bed!
We used to read so much more when I SAH

DS is only 5 months, so these are super short board books. We read 2 at bedtime and something like 5-8 during the day. He loves turning the pages - so cute!

Each LO gets to choose three books before bed to read. We also read throughout the day (more or less depending on our mood). I'm that crazy mom who checks out 30 books at the library...
