I have 2
I also have a little cupcake stand.
I have my eyeballs on a couple milk glass stands, but how many cake stands does one need?!
Please share pics if you can!

@chopsuey: oh and it's never too many. If you entertain much they are practical. I used them to set up a dessert table at a friends wedding this summer. I also used them all for my baby shower. You can find them cheap at TJ Maxx or Home Goods.

I've got 3. One is milk glass, one with a done from Bed, Bath, & Beyond, and one I made from some china I picked up at a thrift shop.

P.s. I don't even know what a milk one is.

I just have this little one that I got at Home Goods for Rs smash cake.

We have 2 regular sized ones and a small one (used for cake smash). I've had my eyes and heart set on the white milk glass one at SLT for a long while!

I have a glass dome set (seriously best thing that can be cake stand, punch bowl, divided tray) and then a set of three glass cake stands of three different sizes. I like that for parties it all matches and is solid glass. My other serving pieces are clear glass too. Although if I did it over white serving dishes seem to be more popular.

I have two tiered towers one from pampered chef and one from ikea. They are great for displaying little desserts but I need a cake stand!

I love cake stands so much. I have 4: turquoise glass, the second one @chopsuey posted, a clear glass one with a dome, a snowflake one...and then a mini one for a single cupcake. Totally impractical but adorable.
I collect them...DH says no more but I love them!

I have three. One clear basic (wedding gift), one red and white Christmas-y one from Crate & Barrel that I've also appropriated for Valentine's desserts, and one with an elaborate bird design that was a hand-me-down from my mom.

I have a glass one with a dome that doubles as a cake stand and a small purple and white polka-dotted cupcake one that my niece gave me for Christmas a few years ago, which is currently being used as a ring holder on my dresser.

@T.H.O.U.: I have that one too! It's not fancy but it works! And the done is the essential part anyway.
I'm amazed at how many cake stands people have. I think my in laws find it fussy that I have one at all!
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@MaisyMay: omg I think it's the same one BHLDN used to sell. How much is your work selling it for? What color is it IRL?
@jedeve: haha its my thing. Most females have clothes and makeup, I have cake stands.
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6703 posts
@regberadaisy: Minted offers it for $65. The color of the stock photo is quite accurate. The pic I took was in bad lighting.it is more green than blue.
