DH works in banking and it amazes me how many checking accounts they open on a daily/monthly/yearly basis. Didn't realize that people opened/closed so many checking accounts.
I have two right now, one from before marriage, and or joint.

I have two savings accounts though -
We have one checking account.

One with DH, and one that was attached to my student loan. I've just been to lazy to go close it :T

2. Joint and my own!

2, at separate banks. When we get married, we'll have a joint, but I plan to keep one of my own.

We have two but we only use one of them. We're working on closing the one that we don't use.

3, joint, personal and my business. But they are all linked and my dh sees everything.

I have my own checking account and so does DH. We haven't made to the bank to open a joint checking account. Sad because we have been together nearly 8 years and married nearly 2.

We each have a personal checking. I have an emergency slush fund, we have a checking for our son and a joint savings.
