Long or short term...
I've worked in 12 cities in my life...most were for short assignments!
Favorite: San Francisco, Paris
Least favorite: Jacksonville

Just two for me... my internship at my college town and the town for my current job.

I've only lived in two cities, so only jobs in those two: Utica, NY and NYC.

Three - Chicago, London, and Melbourne (Australia)!

Davis, Sacramento, Berkeley, SF, Burlingame, Seattle, Bellevue, Factoria, Truckee, Pocatello, Salt Lake City, Uganda, Chennai, Bangkok, and a few other small places in India. I have to say, they were all good! I couldn't pick a favorite. I can say that Bangkok was probably the worst for me though.

Pittsburgh and NYC mainly. But took multiple long (2-3 week) trips to Kolkata, Bangalore and Shanghai.
