Oh to have one walk-in closet. It can hold so much! And I don't have that many clothes anymore, so I would just need it for storage.
We have a decent sized closet (not walk-in) in 2/3 bedrooms. Then we have 3 hall closets (about the width of a door but pretty deep). That is actually a lot of closet space for New York! Ah to have one more closet though would be absolutely perfect, but we make it work with 5 closets.

Our master has a fabulous walk in, really was my selling point on our house. Our other bedrooms have decent sized closets, we have a coat closet, and then a huge under the stairs storage space (closet) as well where we store out of season clothings, decorations, ect.

2 hall closets, one storage closet off of the dining room, and a decent closet in each bedroom. We also have a storage unit in the basement of the building, which is awesome for seasonal things and baby gear.

We have 2 walk in closets in the master bathroom. Our two spare bedrooms each have a walk in closet. We have two walk in hall closets, a linen closet, and a coat closet.
So 6 walk in closets and two additional closets.

1 in each of 4 bedrooms, but my son's is what I would consider double size, one in the entry hall, one in the basement, under the stairs that functions as our pantry.

The master has a large walk-in. The three upstairs bedrooms all have small walk-in closets. We have two hall closets, hanging space in the laundry room, and a walk-in pantry.

DH and I each have a walk-in. LO has a walk-in, and there's a walk-in in our office. Then there's a non walk-in in the guest room and a coat closet downstairs. So 6 total.

Coat closet (standard size), linen closet (double-door sized), each of the 3 bedrooms upstairs has a good sized closet (about 6-8 feet wide with sliding doors) and our master bedroom has a walk-in. But we live in Ohio. Real estate is cheap.

2 coat closets downstairs, walk-in pantry off the kitchen (sort of a closet for food haha). Each bedroom upstairs has a large closet and then we have 2 walk-in closets in our master suite. The two upstairs bathrooms have large closets and there is a linen closet in the upstairs hallway.

ugh! we are seriously lacking in the closet department!
1 front entrance closet.
1 double closet in the master bedroom.
2 single closets in the other 2 bedrooms.

I mean, that's 5 closets, but it seems sooooo minimal for our needs. LOL

4 bedroom closets, 2 walk-in, 2 regular. 1 linen closet.
All of that and we don't have a hall closet for coats. It's annoying.

2 walk-ins in the master bedroom, 1 in each of the other 3 bedrooms, 1 linen closet, 1 pantry in the kitchen, and 1 walk-in coat closet, so 8? But we also have part of our basement set up with storage shelving. DH is obsessive about organized storage.

you guys are killing me with closet envy!
-one in our bedroom, it's the width of a standard door, but the ceilings are high, so i do stack things way up there.
-one in our spare room that has sliding doors, so i'm guessing 1.5 standard doors in width.
-one shallow linen closet, standard door width, in our bathroom
total: 3, two of which are deep enough for a hanger to be hung in.
that's it. no coat closet, no storage closet, no pantry closet, no broom closet. ugh. they wondered why no one wanted to buy the condo we rent, ha, because the storage is awful!

Our old place had 4:
-two closets in the hallway (not walk-in)
-a big closet in the bedroom (not walk-in)-probably 8 feet wide, though
-a deeper walk-in that essentially took up the space under the stairs in the hallway. It was nice that it was so deep, but it was weirdly shaped.
The new place has a lot!
-one in the bedroom, about 4 feet wide
-one walk-in in the hallway, with a closet-within-a-closet for linens
-a food pantry in the kitchen
-a coat closet
-a storage unit downstairs
I guess it's the same number in the new place, but it feels much easier to organize! And I love my coat closet, linen closet, and pantry

In our master bedroom, we had two small walk-in's and we connected them into 1 big walk in w/ sliding doors!

We have small closets in every bedroom but not any walk-ins. 
We have a hall closet. Oh, we have a small pantry, too. So in general we need to find some other ways of organizing and making room to store things.
We moved our office into one of the family rooms off the kitchen, so we (I) could make the smallest bedroom into a huge walk-in closet for me. I think I can make it a walk-in closet/craft area to multipurpose it.

@.twist.: Same here! Same exact closets except we don't have a hall closet. We have this lil storage thingy ma bober in the living room with shelves that's built into the wall and has doors. I hate not having a master closet and the lack of storage space!

I am dying, dying, dying for more closet space in common areas!! Each of our 3 bedrooms has a nice big closet, the master being a walk-in (a small walk-in, but we use the space well), and there is a closet in the downstairs bathroom that contains the laundry machines. THAT'S IT. We currently split up our linen storage between a small dresser in the master bedroom and the closet downstairs with the laundry in it. Coats are hung on hooks in the front hall, we have several shoe racks and a bench with storage for more shoes and slippers, and a bench in the upstairs hall for storage for bags. The kids' closets are full top to bottom with hand-me-downs they need to grow into and some of our old clothes. We have a rolling rack in the basement for additional coats. We also just added a pantry cabinet in the kitchen and shelves in this little weird space in the hall bath upstairs for toiletries and cleaning products. Like I said, I CAN'T WAIT for closets...!! Even tiny ones, as long as there are multiple scattered throughout the house.

We have a decent walk in closet. Then office and bedroom have a closet. Then a hall closet and 3 linen closet. Only the one in our bathroom is so think you can't put towels, we use for toiletries and medicine. I need to clean it out. Too much crap!

Haha you all have so many closets! We have one shallow entry closet that houses coats, vacuum, broom, mop and has one shelf where we have the crockpot and one other kitchen appliance.
We have one walk in closet in our master that is essentially storage for all our stuff, and J has a regular sized closet in his room.
So three total!

We only have 3. One pantry closet in the kitchen, one closet in the master bedroom, and one closet in the upstairs hall. The kids' rooms have NO closets. Our home wasn't well designed at all. Thankfully we have a big basement with lots of storage room.
