My toddler has a fever of 103 and she is really cranky. I called her Dr and they told me to give her Tylenol and take her in tomorrow morning.
I'm think she might have roseola because two kids at daycare had it last week... 
How long did your LO have high fevers? Did they develop a rash?

2 days of fevers around 103. Rash came a day or two later. Hope your LO feels better soon

3 days of fever but the highest it got was just under 102. E was fine during the fever days... she didn't get cranky and fussy until the tail end of the spotty days.

It was 3 days of fever and then rash for both times (LO had it at 4 months and again at 12 months).

Ok, so she definitely has a virus but no rash yet!

Super high fever for about 4 days I think? Then the day it went away, rash! That's when we knew it was roseola! The biggest hint was NO other symptoms. Just fever over 104 for several days. We took him in to get tested for a UTI but it was negative. Then the next day his fever broke and he got the rash for a few hours. Then it disappeared!

@mrs. wagon: it's sooo weird. She napped for 5 hours on Sunday but seemed fine so I didn't check her temp. Then she was burning up yesterday with a temp of 104.2! Ack, I hope it passes soon!

@autumnlove: sounds like roseola to me...!! we were so relieved when the rash popped up because it solved the mystery and confirmed our suspicions... we took a picture! haha.

Mine also had fevers for almost 3 days and then the rash came in. But despite the fever she was never cranky and didn't seem bothered by it at all. I on the other hand was a nervous wreck
