I know that if you had your baby in the nursery in the hospital you wouldn't know this - but for anyone who does know, how many diapers did your baby go through in the first 24 hours of life?

I'm cloth diapering from the start (I don't intend to use any disposables at all), and although the typical birth center stay is only 4-6 hours post birth, we are welcome to stay the night and go home the next morning if we are too tired.

So I need to pack enough cloth diapers to get us through 24 hours just in case. Does 12 sound about right? I'd rather have extras than be short.
