Agree with @MsMini: and @MaisyMay: how many,wet diapers baby has is an indication of whether it's eating enough too, so expect a few more than 5

Like 16-18. We CD, though, he was eating CONSTANTLY and he can't stand being wet for even a second. I imagine if we used disposables it would be less because of the extra absorbency. At 5.5 months he still goes through about a dozen a day.

Every time she ate, she needed a diaper change, at the least. So like PPs, 8-12x. Stock up on those diapers!

Just found a great deal on Pampers at Target so I bought a case of size 1 and a case of size 2, plus two cases of wipes
aaaaaaand I told DH I was right and he was wrong!

12-14 a day. He pooped A LOT in the beginning.

We were pretty religious with changing every 2 hrs add in tons of poop I would say 12. Def more than 5!
P.S. M grew out of sizes pretty quickly so I went through prob 2 big boxes of NB & 1. Then maybe 3 boxes of 2s? And we've been in 3s for a while. -
@regberadaisy: I debated about what size to buy, especially since we haven't had our shower yet, but then found out that Target is pretty good about returns/exchanges of unopened packages of diapers. So I'm going to keep my receipts handy just in case!

I'd say around 8...my LO didn't poop a lot when he was younger, just always had huge pee diapers.

@septemberlove: def keep the receipts! But be wary I have heard on the boards that target has a weird per year return policy.

10-12 per day...seemed like she was always wet.

My son pooped every time he nursed, which was every two hours round the clock for a good 6 weeks. So at least 12.

About 20. It was ridiculous back then! She kept peeing in the middle of a change.

LO is 9 days old, and we're changing 8-11 times per day, but probably using more diapers because of open-air pees!
