I saw the internet paranoia thread and it made me wonder how many friends you ladies have on Facebook. Just curious.

I have under 100 friends. I kinda hate FB but it's pretty much a necessity to stay in touch with non-local friends and extended family. I keep mine limited to people I know and see in real life.

Again as I keep mentioning, when my facebook is unbanned I have about 600 friends.
I have 5 other alts and they probably have 30-50 friends on each profile.

I signed up for the facebook my senior year of high school as soon as I got my college .edu email address (sigh...the good old days of facebook). Over my 4.5 years at college, I racked up a good 600+ "friends." My last half year of school, I deleted about 550 people, I'm down to 98 now, and actually know each and every person! Whew!

I have 830. I actually know most of my FB friends. Of course many are people I've met only once or twice--but I've got friends from all grades of school, college, master's degree, different jobs, etc. I recently purged a few. I will probably purge a little more soon

374. I had it down to a little under 200 for awhile. Then we joined a new church and met a lot of new people! I also met DH's family this summer.
I should go through them again
I try to keep it low as well.

I had 1400 but I spent a whole day deleting a bunch and now I am at 700. I had so many because I went to three colleges, a huge high school, and two large churches. Oh, and about 150 of my friends are family members!
Eta: I just checked, I have 890.

129, and until I read this thread I thought that was a lot! Almost entirely friends and family, and some people I was friendly with in high school.

520 and I just did a HUGE purge...like deleted 500 friends.

I have 485. I just did a huge delete too.
The annoying this is I tried to delete more, but people who have deactivated their facebooks still show up in your friends list but you can't delete them! It's extremely annoying.
I'm trying to get rid of anyone I don't want to see baby pictures of LO when she's here...but also torn because there are some people that are just too good of entertainment to delete.

357! I deleted a lot and I'm sure I got deleted from people's friends list too!

I have about 1500, but I joined when it first started and you basically added anyone that you even remotely knew. I've been unsubscribing to people I don't talk to lately; maybe I need to go through a purge!

I think around 480? I've been slowly purging my list (started at like 8-900) over the last year.
