Wake ups aside. I just want a cumulative number.
Roughly 12-18 months please!
We are struggling with sleep issues and I just am curious if she's on target for total hours, even with all her wake ups.

almost 13 months old and she sleeps 12 at night and 2-3 naps (she still does 2x day)

I voted 9-10 for overnight, but he takes a 2 hour nap so that would put him around 12 total.

Your options seem weird to me. Shouldn't they be getting at at least 11 hours of sleep??
Logan (16m) sleeps 11-11.5 hours overnight, and take a 2-2.5 hour nap during the day, so 13-14 hours total.

10 or so hours per night and 2-2.25 hrs for nap. 12-12.5 hrs total.

13 months,, sleeps 11-12 at night and about 1.5 hour long nap so about 13 hours.

11.5mos. Usually about 2.5 hours of cumulative nap time, plus 8-10 hours overnight.
LO is generally goes to bed at around 7:30p and gets up at 6:30a or 7a (but is up for 1-3 hours spread between 3-5 wakeups - ugh!).

DS is 19 months and sleeps 12 hours overnight (generally, 7-7) and his nap is usually about 1.5 hours. So, between 13-14 hours total per day.

Overnight sleep is probably around 11 hours, plus about a 2 hour nap. She's almost 17 months.

When LO was that age, he slept 11 hours at night and 1 1/2-2 hours at nap.

@Adira: ha I dream of 11+ hours. Clearly my view is skewed from how bad it is here.

@sorrycharlie: Maybe I misunderstood your question. Was it about total sleep (including naps) or just overnight sleep?
Although still... 10-12 I think should be the norm for overnight sleep... right???

10-11 hours at night, 2-2.5 hours during the day. He will always at least have 12 hours of sleep in total.

@sorrycharlie: We hired a sleep consultant at 16 months. I think she said about 11 hours at night is average with a daytime nap of 1.5-3 hours. If her lack of sleep is taking a toll on you, I would strongly encourage hiring a sleep consultant. I felt silly because I had already sleep trained one child, but nothing I was doing was working. It was the best thing I did for myself (and for DD2 too, I think). I wish I had bit the bullet a lot sooner. *hugs*

Yea night time sleep is on average 11 hours but I voted 11+ because of the 2 hour nap.
Bedtime around 7:30 and wake up at 6:30. We start bedtime more around 7;!5 because by 7:30 we run the risk of meltdown. So we start earlier and he's asleep by 7:30.

12 month old here. 12 hours overnight, still on two naps so 1 hour (AM) plus 2 hours (PM)
So 15 hours. wowza. in my next life I want to sleep like a baby sleeps.

Coming up to 15 months here. 11-12 hours at night, two naps around 1.5 hours, totaling about 15 hours each day.
ETA: @sorrycharlie: what is going on with your sleep? I'm sorry things are rough right now!

We just hit 19 months yesterday so I still answered because I know what he was doing Ask me again in a few months and I probably won't remember.
At 12-15 months he was doing 12 hours overnight and 3-4 hours during the day. So 15-16 hours total.
From 15-18 months we were sort of all over because of transitioning to 1 nap. But I'd still say it was 11-12 hours overnight and 2-ish hours during the day. So up to 14 hours total.
By 18 months he was pretty solid at 11-ish hours overnight (overnight has dropped a little. Hello, regression, still going strong at 19 months). And he now takes one nap for 2-3 hours (usually 2 on the nose, 3 happens once or so a week). So 13-14 hours total. On an odd day when he wakes really early he'll still take a morning nap, but I'd say overall sleep time remains the same.

@sorrycharlie: if you mean you dream of that total, you might want to talk with your pediatrician. Mine said 13-14 hours per day total was the average for a 12-18 month old. Mine currently gets about 13, but we struggled with her older sister. Even with low sleep needs, her ped was worried when I said it was 11.

17 months, 10 hours overnight with one nap during the day that is anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours long. (Plus the occasional 20 minute catnap in the car on the way home from daycare/target/dinner/etc.)

DD is a little older than your range but her sleep now at 21 months is similar to that at 18 months, which is 11-12 hours overnight and a 1.5-3 hour nap.

She's nearly 12 months. She usually sleeps 11 to 12 hours overnight and has 2 to 3 hours worth of naps (usually broken up into 2 naps) during the day...

DS just turned 19 months. For the last 2 months, regressions aside, he was sleeping about 11-12 hours overnight and took a 2-3 hour nap. I would say he averages 13-14 hours a day, which is supposed to be on target for this age group.
