I was in labor for about 9 hours with LO1 and 10 hours with LO2, so pretty close to the same time. LO1 required a lot of pushing and LO2 practically fell out, so I'll take that extra hour of labor for the ease of pushing! I feel like I hear people say their labor was just an hour or two or it was something crazy like a day...curious where you are all at!

I was induced and having contractions for 4 days. When my waters finally broke I had 12 hours of the more intense crazy contractions (I laugh now that I thought the pre waters breaking contractions were really bad. Little did I know!)

Total? From first noticeable contraction to baby out, was about 25 hours. BUT the first 12 hours of contractions really weren't bad or very painful-more like cramps that came and went. Active labor (or when the contractions got painful at least) was maybe 10 hours? I didn't push for very long.

My second stalled for a bit, it was about 8h from early labor but if you count active labor, 4 hours.

Started induction at 9 p.m. on a Saturday, had a little girl just before Noon on the Monday, so 39 hours.

I say 51 hours but I knew I was in labor 8 hours before that. It was just 51 hours of *almost* unbearable pain. (I wrote unbearable pain first but I did survive so I guess that isn't true even if it felt that way.)

@Corduroy: Fellow ungodly long labour mama! Was your baby posterior by any chance? Mine ended up royally stuck after all that labour, 2 hours of labouring down and an hour of pushing because he had his chin turned and pressed to his shoulder but I guess being in a crummy position will make labour insanely long (and back labour in my case as well).

LO1 was induced, 9 hours from the doctor breaking my water to baby in hand. LO2 from first contraction to baby in hand was 2 hours.

About 10hours with 1 and 2.5 with 2! That's in the hospital. 2 was an induction but I barely got any pitocin.

31 hrs from first contraction to him coming out. The contractions didn't start getting really bad until about 18 or so hrs in, though.

Ok, then first labor was around 7 hours and second was around 11 hours.

27 hours from water breaking. 23 hours of labor, first contraction hit hard. 17 hours unmedicated then I caved and got an epi.

I don't know how to answer that since I was induced. It was 18.5 hours from the start of induction to LO being born via c section. I was having noticeable contractions about 2 hours after the start of induction but it wasn't really painful until an hour or two after that.

Both were inductions. LO1 was 20ish hours from start of induction to birth, LO2 was 8 hours from start of induction to birth.

Induced and labored for 14 hours with barely any progress so I threw in the towel!!
Better to have a c section early than risk a long and draining labor that would most likely end in one anyway.

22 hours not including the 30min emergency c-section (got baby out in 5 minutes, then closed me back up). I really hope this next one doesn't take near that long- hoping for a vbac
