14 hours after natural water break for DS

About 2 days/48 hours, with contractions slowing every now and then probably due to back labor & a sunny side up baby. From the first cramps, add 12 hours.

# 1 I was in L&D for 5 days before they sent me home, I was back 3 hours later and delivered the next day at 11:24. About 16 hours after going back the 2nd time. This was 13 years ago, civilian vs. military hospital and just shy of 35 weeks.
#2 After having PTL and bedrest from 30 - 35 weeks, I was induced the day after my due date. About 8 hours
#3 I knew I was in labor but didn't start timing until around 7. I was admitted at noon and she was born at 4:30. About 9 hours.

I was induced due to pre eclampsia. I went in because I knew something was wrong, I was having too strong of contractions for miso, so they had to wait a couple hours for them to slow down. From check in to birth 43 hours. Not gonna lie it was rough. My epidural stopped working several hours before birth, which further delayed things. I was going to be induced 4 days later due to GD anyways, so I expect something similar to happen with future births.

17 from first contraction to birth. Just under 12 from natural water breaking. FWIW I had a vaginal delivery and an epidural.

Waters broke at 0530 on Monday, active labour established at 1030, started pushing at 1200 on Tuesday and Miss A finally arrived at around 1430. Fingers crossed Squish arrives slightly faster!!

I was in early labour (constant contractions...) for about 2 days then active labour for over 40 hours. Damn waters just would not break.

About 2 hours and 18 minutes of pushing. Via induction at 41 weeks 4 days.

@lamariniere: 45 minutes? Swoon .. That would be amazing, provided it you made it to your choice location before baby arrived.

@getjazzy: luckily, my water broke first and I got to the hospital with no problems. My contractions didn't start for about 5 hours after my water broke, so I was ready to go!

I was induced and had my water broken, but 7 hours. I was super comfy the entire time though (thanks to the epi) except during transition.

Induction took like 10 hours, then between epidural (3cm) and pushing was another 6+ hours, then pushing was 2 hours!

@Corduroy: @getjazzy: another lengthy labor here! THREE DAYS. My water never broke...they broke it for me! Hoping for a much faster labor this time!

Less than 7 hours from water breaking naturally. Less than 5 from start of contractions.

30 hours. My contractions were 2 minutes apart and I was 6 cm dilated for 10 of those hours.
Fingers crossed for one of the aforementioned speedy labors this time around!

First felt contractions at 6am.
Didn't go to hospital until 5pm. (Still don't think it was active labor, I wasn't in any pain).
2am is when the active labor started, epi at 3am, had baby at 1244pm the next day, so around 10 hours?

From first contraction to delivery, 6 hours. Mucous plug at hour 2. Water broke around hour 4. Pushed for 15 minutes.

@littlejoy: Yes!! I was so shocked by how number two went compared to the first. My first was a home birth turned hospital transport when I got stuck in transition for nine grueling hours - contractions every minute lasting over a minute the entire time. And I was falling asleep in my birth tub in between them. It was hell and I thought I would die and I narrowly avoided a c-section. I carried to 42 weeks with my second and had to have a pitocin induced labor - and it only hurt for maybe an hour and a half. It was awesome.

Both are from water breaking to baby.
DD1- 12 hours and about 15 minutes of pushing
DD2- 2.5 hours and 5 minutes of pushing
Though I had a head start with DD2 being I was 4cm the day before labor even started for her.

Forever, 3 and a half days. I was induced and my water broke the first night but it took forever because labor kept stalling. I almost begged for a c-section. But right before we made the decision things went super fast. I pushed for maybe 10 minutes.
