LO is 3.5 and disappointed me by only going to five houses. She asked to go home to eat her candy that she got at school. Last year we went to at least 25. The year before we did four before heading back home. Then once bigger kids started she followed them back out and did about 10. DS is 16 months and was not into it at all.
How many houses did your LO hit?

We made it around our full block (and a cul de sac). I would say we easily hit 20 + houses. The nearly 2 year old was tired and trying really hard to keep up (refusing her stroller). And thankfully the older (5 yo) felt like her bucket was soooo full and was okay with going home too.

We did between 15 and 20 (LO1 is nearly 4). Baby (16 months) hung in there, although he didn't go up to each house. It was the first year I thought it was a fun experience, and he was totally into it. We had a blast! And were all in bed by 7:30, so win for me!
My favorite part was that LO1 was dressed as Batman, but decided while TOTing that he wanted to be Darth Vadar, so any time that someone commented on his costume, he told them he was Darth Vadar. It was hilarious: "Oh, and Batman is here!" "Um, actually, I'm Darth Vadar."

We did 11 or so houses. Usually we just do our street and cul-de-sac, but less than half the houses had their lights on, so we went one street over. After #9, LO1 asked to go home and eat her candy.

DS is 3.5 and we did about 10, we just went around our cul de sac. We told him he could go to as many houses as he wanted and he was done.
He got tonnes of candy, there weren't many kids out and he was being so polite so everyone gave him lots.

We have a 3.5 year old and a 15m old (who was carried/worn). We went around the entire block, and up another street as well....we were out for 2 hours.

We probably went to about 15-20. DD who is 3 was getting quite tired by then. I was trying to encourage her to keep going because I imagined all the walking and climbing up and down porches would help get this baby out of me! Nope

My 3yo did maybe 15? And then told me "That's enough, Mommy". She had a blast so I didn't want to push it.

About 4. We walked with our neighbors, and it was more about the experience. Plus, it was cold!

I want to say about 30. We went around my moms subdivision and then stopped at some relatives houses. An hour before it stopped my DD (age 4) was asking to go home but DS (age 2) was still going strong. Both fell asleep on the way home though.

We went to about 20 houses last night with three kids (5, 4, and 3). Kept it simple and just walked down our street and back. Since my kids have food allergies, I drop off special treats for them at my neighbors' houses. I limit to our street because it's too much work otherwise.

Two! Both families we know, within a few doors of our house. She still really enjoys looking out of the window and running to the door to hand out sweets to the trick or treaters, so we stuck to that this year.

We only did 3! They're 2.5. I think DS would have done more, but DD was done. DH was going to keep going with DS, but he didn't want to do it without his sister. Turns out they loved handing out candy and seeing all the other kids' costumes much more than getting their own candy. We were worried they'd have a hard time giving the candy in our bowl to other people, but they thought it was really fun!

LO is 19 months and we took her to about 10 houses- mostly neighbors we know and a couple of houses with great decorations. It was her first time going and she did great! Carried her own bucket the whole way and said "treat."

five? maybe 7? It is a zoo where we trick or treat, there are a few brownstone blocks that go ALL OUT; people come in from all over to trick or treat in an already crowded urban area. She's so little she just got run over. But "she" got some reese's cups and a 3 musketeers so "she" was really satisfied.

Gosh, probably 50 but we were downtown in a highly concentrated area. LO was surprisingly into it! But now we have way too much candy!

We TOT at a nursing home and our downtown district both places induced laying on the ground and crying. So she was not up for going around the block.

0. DS wasn't making good choices at preschool so we stayed home to hand out candy. He did get to participate in the Halloween parade and trick or treat around the school. That was enough for us.

We went to 6 I think. We stopped at the two on our culdesac that had lights on, then we drove to another neighborhood 5 mins away with huge elaborate setups. The houses weren't all that close to each other plus we ran into one of DS' teachers and they had a whole haunted house back yard. The whole thing took about an hour.

4, and probably around 50? Most of the people passing out candy had tables and chairs set up at the end of the driveways or in the front yard. Very popular streets, there were SO many trick-or-treaters!

DS1 is 4 while DS2 is 1. DS2 was finished after about 10 houses. He lasted a lot longer than I expected him to! DH took him home and DS1 and I continued on with our neighbors. He went to about 20 total. We live on a giant hill, so going down it was super easy, he was fading as we were walking back up it on the other side and asked to go home once we made it to the neighbor's house. I thought he did pretty well!

We went to probably about 30-40ish houses. We were out for about two hours. DD (3.5) couldn't get enough of it!

I only took my eldest (age 5), since my youngest was sick (DH stayed home) and my foster daughter doesn't do well with strangers. He did maybe 15-20 houses, and was thrilled with that. We also saw a lot of people simply sitting outside with table/chairs so kids weren't ringing doorbells.

Maybe 15-20? M is almost 4 and we met up with friends halfway through. We didn't hit every house on the street as some didn't seem to be home/participating. The girls rang the bell at a nicely decorated house around 5:30 and they promptly shut their lights off on us! Boo

Our building did TOT, and we hit up maybe 8-9 places in our building. After that, both girls were feeling pretty over it. We did go outside, but LO1 only did 2 houses (not even super willingly) and then begged to go home. LO2 was cranky by that point too.

Probably 50 from our neighborhood. Well there are 50 houses but not everyone answered and 3 had bowls on the porch that were empty.

i'm guessing about 15 but she could have done much more! we had a path to get to our friend's house and once we got there, we hung out for a while and she got to pass out candy there since our house is quiet. she's 3y9m. baby sister (1y) sat in the wagon for a while and then i threw her in a carrier to sleep.

30ish? There are 40 houses in our neighborhood and I'd say about quarter of them were not home. We went to all the others. DH took our 10 month old home about half way through. 3.5 year old was happy to go to all of the houses.
