Apt has 1. LOVE IT, but I hate that sound carries in the house and into the kids' rooms.

I swore I'd never live in a house with a first floor bedroom, but we have a 1 story ranch and I actually really like it. Everything is so convenient!

4 - I love my late 60's split. It's dated in some senses but we've worked a lot on it. I love the bones and space we have. The living areas are spacious and so are the bedrooms. I really love our house for entertaining too!
Ground level - foyer, garage, family room, bathroom #1, sunroom.
Up 4 steps living room, dining room, kitchen,
Up 11 steps - 4 bedrooms (1 ensuite), bathroom #3
Basement is finished under livingroom level and not under family room level. -

One story and I love it. I watch my father-in-law trip twice coming down the stairs and it is scary. I don't want to worry about falling when I'm older in my forever home.
