1000? No, just kidding, but it seems endless! Since I'm on maternity leave I do a couple a day to keep up with it and make sure everything gets folded and put away, but I'm sure it'll turn into about three big weekend loads that will, sadly, probably never get folded.

1 load for kids
1 load of nap mats and blankets (daycare)
1 load towels
2 loads for me and DH
1 load sheets
so 6 - and I do them all on saturday

I should do way more than I actually do. I could easily do one a day and still never feel like I am catching up. I freaking hate laundry and wait until the last minute every time!

at least six, with one kid.
usually 2x a week for DS, 2x+ of colors/whites for us, 1-2x for towels/sheets

We do 4-5, but only because we do laundry on Saturdays (cheaper) and that's all we can get done in a day. I *wish* it didn't cost so much to do laundry during the week, or else I would do a load per day.

We don't have kids yet so usually 2 loads - clothes and sheets/towels. I don't separate whites/colors
I have specialty loads I have to do once in a while like my dog's toys and her beds, and then my delicates since I have a delicates cycle on my washer.

Probably between 5 and 7 per week. I only have 2 bassinet sheets, so when LO was spitting up at night, we'd do at least 1 per day.

@Mrs. Bee: I was thinking afterwards that you might have those super big machines since you live in an apt! That is handy with so much laundry.

@Andrea: yah we used to have a machine in our last apt and i thought i would miss it, but it is actually easier to get 3 huge loads done at once at this place.

14? I do two loads everyday. Either clothes and towels or clothes and diapers. DH works outside in a labor position so this time of year I'm washing his many layers and they can't really be reworn...

5-10 , depending on the level of dog mess and whether or not I've changed the whole bed (duvets, etc). I try to do a load a day to keep up.

One dark, one light, and the nanny does one of baby clothes.
