I'm at 5/6. Breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner....sometimes i want a snack before bed. Eating too big of meals makes me feel icky sitting at a desk all day, pregnant or not!
Eating less frequently really hasn't been proven to boost your metabolism, anyways, so if you prefer 3 hearty meals, by all means, go for it.

Usually two - lunch and dinner. I'm not a breakfast person, so I generally only have (a gallon of) coffee in the morning. I am a snacker, though, so I eat in between lunch and dinner, and after dinner, too; I just don't count those as meals.

I eat three not-too-big meals and three small snacks most days. I like to eat all the time

Now that I have GD I have to eat 6 times a day.
I have been really liking the 100 cal Greek yogurts with a 1/4 oats first thing, a mandrin Orange as a snack and to get down my iron pill, cheese and crackers for lunch, cottage cheese with fresh pepper as a snack, a normal dinner and depending on how my sugars are a treat in the evenings.
Pre packaged portions of trail mix from TJ are also a great item to have on hand.
I have been keeping a food journal with everything I eat, so it's easy to go back and get ideas. I also drink 64 oz of water a day. Since I started this diet, I find that I am rarely hungry, and in 31 weeks pregnant and have gained 0 pounds over Christmas and New Years by lowering my carbs and upping protein (weight is not the point, but it's been an interesting side effect).
What prompted you to make this change? If you need more ideas let me know
ETA before I got pregnant I sometimes just drank coffee until noon. When I got pregnant I started eating regularly I but was eating way too many carbs (I'm looking at you Odwalla Strawberry c monster).

@youboots: good old GD! I just started eating like this last week....I had to do it for my last pregnancy but it is hard to get into the habit again.

@autumnlove: well it's for a good cause this is my first time with GD. It's not as scary/awful as I thought it would be. Go wander through the isles at Trader Joes if you have one.

I aim to eat 5-6 times a day (roughly 8am-8pm), and not snack in between (I’m a grazer by nature and getting rid of snacking has been necessary to help me reach my weight goal).

3. I couldn't do the many small meals thing, I'd never feel full. Even if I stuff my self at one meal, I'm still hungry again a few hours later. If I undereat, it's way worse.

I eat breakfast/lunch/dinner and an afternoon snack. Occasionally a dessert at night but maybe only once a week.

@youboots: Ya, I'm headed to TJs later today. I don't want to get bored since I have 32ish weeks left of eating like this!

3 meals, 2 snacks usually... I think I eat way too much lately but breastfeeding is making me a monster!
