Our current apartment has a dishwasher that can only comfortably hold one meal's worth of dishes! Makes it hard when we eat three meals a day at home... we're just always doing dishes!
Our last place had a dishwasher that could hold 2 or even 3 meals' worth of dishes and wow, what a difference that made! We mopped and vacuumed that place a lot more, and now that I think about it it's probably because we weren't doing dishes all the time!
How many meals' worth of dishes can your dishwasher hold?

We have a fairly standard size dishwasher. I eat just about every meal at home and everyone else eats 2 meals at home. I run the dishwasher every 24 hours or so, occasionally more often if we are all home all day.

Usually 3-4 meals. Lots of space in my dishwasher.

How many dishes are you guys using per meal?
We have a standard dishwasher, it can hold 12 plates of varying sizes, 5 coupe shaped bowls (those things are space wasters IM0) and at least 20 pieces of silverware on the bottom and up top, 16 glasses (I know because that's all the glassware we own, lol). Plus, I can fit in other things, like serving utentils up top.

4-6 depending on how many dishes we use in the cooking process. It is really well designed.

It's standard size.. Depends what we eat. We used to have a half size one and it sucked.

We run ours every other day and that's mainly b/c we are now washing bottles and pumping parts so often. Otherwise, we could go a couple of days.

We can normally do 3 meals, but we hand wash all pots, any wooden cooking utensils and a few other things.

We run it every day no matter what. We don't eat out a lot so it's pretty much 3 meals a day although DH eats lunch at work and DD1 has school lunch now.

We eat 1 meal a day at home M-F and run it every 4 or 5 days. We hand wash pots and pans.

We run ours every 3-4 days. But we hand-wash all pots and pans, cooking utensils, and most tupperware. We also hand-wash all of D's dishes because they're cheap plastic from the One Spot and I'm not really sure if they're dishwasher-safe. If we put his dishes in the dishwasher, we'd probably have to run it every other day.

3 meals. And DH has to stack it a certain way. I use a lot of cups!! And dishes.

Not very many! We have an "apartment sized" dishwasher (I think it is 24 inches?) and it fills up very quickly. Maybe 1-2 meals worth.
