I've started to look into building up a one-size stash, but was wondering about newborn sizes... Did you really need them? If you did, how many did you find you needed? I'm up for pocket diapers and all in one's....

We had a 2 pockets (fb xsm) & 3 aio (bg nb) for nighttime and outings and about 15 prefolds w/ 4 covers that we used during the day. We washed daily.
P was around 3.5 months before she fit into her OS dipes

We did a newborn cloth rental. It came with 20 fitteds and 5 covers and I did diaper laundry once a day. DS didn't fit his one sized pocket diapers very well until he hit 12-14 lbs (between 2 and 3 months).

I'm interested in these replies too! We have a stash of 7 nb AIOs (bumgenius and swaddlebees), 4 kissaluvs size 0 fitteds, 12 infant prefolds, and 5 nb covers. We are planning on washing daily.

I have 24 newborn cloth diapers (a combination of BG, GroVia, and Lil'Joey).
