@winniebee: how did the first night go? I think it lasted 2 - 3 nights. We only sleep trained DS.

We sleep trained at 4 months, just for going to sleep - it took 3 nights (and the third night was really not bad at all).

It took 3 nights. The first 3 were really bad (at least for us, crying about 45 minutes each night) and I remember telling my husband I couldn't do another night. Then he magically just fell asleep on the 4th night, no crying.

@BandDmommy: not bad actually. Bed at 730, up at 1230 and I did Ferber style checks. 5, 10, 15. I gave him binki, shhhhh him and did a pick up put down. I did two checks and he fell back asleep before the third. And then did cry for a few mins at some other point in the night but I didn't check. Then he slept til 7 . I didn't feed him from 730-7 which is an all time best record!
