My DH is travelling for work this week and I already miss him! He never travels though, so this is quite unusual for us. I don't think we've spent more than a few nights apart in total since we were married 4 years ago.
Paul and Linda McCartney famously spent only a few nights apart in their 29 year marriage.

A lot. He worked out of town for a year and was only home Friday and Saturday. He would leave Sunday afternoon. That was before we were married though. He works out of town here and there now but nothing like before. It sucked but I got used to it eventually.

Not too many lately, but when we were first together he was traveling pretty often for work, sometimes for a week at a time. Sometimes I would go to the fun places with him, but couldn't always. I really wish I had been able to tag along on the Brazil trip!

I think the longest was 6 nights apart, around Easter of this year when he was out of town for work. I don't sleep well without him--I have so much respect for women who have to do it on the regular.

I think the most was 14 days once. I travel a few times a year for work anywhere from 3-14 days 
Luckily its usually only 3-5!

We've been together for 3 years, married for 1 year. We've spent maybe 15 nights apart total, mostly before we got married. I've been to Vegas a couple times without him, he went back East to visit his parents, and out of town for his bachelor party. Since we've been married, I think it's only been a couple of nights.

Before we were married, we would go up to 6 weeks without seeing each other at all. Long distance is the worst! Now we are sort of long distance - he works 3 hours away during the week, so I only see him on weekends. It's lonely. Can't wait for it to be over in one month!

He has been home to see his parents and friends for about two weeks without me. I had to work so I stayed home. I've gotten used to it. I usually have the dog so she keeps me company. It can get lonely but I'm usually busy with work.

I'm living abroad for the next 6 months for work, so right now I haven't seen dh in 2 weeks and it sucks! The longest we've been apart since we were married was 2 weeks, so this 6 month thing is killer. he is coming to visit next week (I cannot wait!!) and in November, and I have short trips home for weddings and a short vacation in July, August, and October, so I don't think we'll ever end up spending more than a couple weeks in between visits...but still, it's really, really hard!
eta: we were long distance for most of the first year of dating so I thought this would be easier--we're way more secure in our relationship now--but it's just hard in a different way!

Hundreds. Maybe a thousand. We were long distance for years and DH did a long deployment to the Middle East. The longest stint was 8 months

A lot. We lived long distance before getting married. He left for basic training and AIT 2.5 weeks after we got married and that was 12 weeks long. He was deployed for pretty much all of 2011. There have also been several schools and trainings which can be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks long depending on what's going on.

Ugh, I can't imagine how you ladies w/ active duty DH's manage. My DH is a reservist and he's been gone for a mere 2 weeks. He had to go when E was only 10 days old. 
Solo parenting a newborn has been HARD. I can't wait for him to be back!!

@espion, DH is reserves now and is on his two week training thing and I can't wait for him to come back tomorrow!!' It was SO easy without the baby. I enjoyed it. Now I'm like "wah come home and save me"

3-4 nights a week, sometimes more. I work nights so it as become the norm for us. We don't like it but we make it work. Hopefully it will change soon.

Not too many. He used to travel for work a lot pre-baby, but had been prompted a few times so he was able to send people instead. Now he works for a different company where travel isn't so common. I really hope it stays that way!

DH and I dated for 2.5 years before getting married and saw each other literally everyday except for 3 days when I had to go on a trip for my moms birthday. Since living together we've spent only one night separately which was the night before our wedding

Not many. He rarely has to travel for work, I think he's only done it once or twice. He has had two separate weeks where he had to stay in the hospital though. The first time I had to be home at night to take care of the dog and the second time I had a baby and dog so I couldn't stay with him.

Tons! We started dating long distance and I used to travel for work all the time. I would be gone 2-3 weeks out of the month. It was really tough. I have NEVER been home without him being at home, though.

Fortunately, not too many since we've been married. When I was a consultant and he was training to open up the shop, we spent numerous nights apart, but that was when we were dating.

Sincep we got married 4+ years ago, we've only been apart maybe 8 days total. There were 2 days apart while we were moving in December, and then DH had a business trip in February, for 6 days.

Oh man, a whole bunch. He travels between 80-90% for work, so his schedule is crazy! There have been times where he's done a full 3 weeks on the road, but usually it's about 5-7 days gone at a time.

we lived an hour apart while dating and engaged so we only saw each other a few times a week. since we got married 3 years ago we've probably spent less than 10 nights apart total. he has to travel for work soon & i'm hoping it will happen before school starts back so i can go with him!
