My induction started on Saturday and I was discharged on Tuesday. I developed a surgery induced anemia (because of my c-section) so I needed a blood transfusion. I think that prolonged my stay by one night.
I stayed 3 nights/4 days. If you count my whole hospital day because my water broke at 28 weeks, I was in the hospital for 45 days. 
ETA: Mommy brain! My induction was on Friday and I had the babies on Saturday. I stayed 4 nights/5 days.

Went in on a Friday early for my scheduled 9am c/s. Was discharged Sunday and left around noon. I couldn't get out of there fast enough 
The room we had was TINY which wouldn't have been a big deal but it was really hard to move around in having had a c/s.

My son was born at 6:59am on Monday, and I was discharged about 6pm on Tuesday. I had a c section, otherwise I would have probably been out of there by noon Monday - with midwives, in Ontario, you only have to stay for 4 hours after a vaginal birth.

2 nights both times, kind of. C was born at 7 am so it was two full nights after that. G was born at 11 pm Thursday, and we didn't get to our room until 3 am or so Friday morning. So I was planning to stay until Saturday afternoon. Then her breathing was just a little fast and they wanted to monitor it so recommended I stay until Sunday since technically that was two nights anyway. It was nice having the nurses around to help for the extra night. DH stayed home with c though.

Zero! For me that was one very big pro of using a midwife. We went home 2.5 hours after DD was born.

3 nights. I was admitted on Wed, they were born on Thurs. I believe I was released on Sunday. I had to stay an extra day or two because of high blood pressure.

We stayed for 2 nights. The second night I wish we had just gone home. Lo wouldn't sleep in the plastic bassinet and the nurses wouldn't let her sleep on me so we got basically no sleep

Technically two nights but really just one because DS was born a few minutes before midnight so that counted as one night! We weren't even out of the delivery room and in our room till after 3 am though!

My insurance would have covered another night for DD, and I sort of regret not staying the extra night, but I was ready to be home with Evan...plus I still had a lot to do for Christmas, and as it was we came home the Sunday before.

Had T Friday night, went home Monday afternoon. The on call staff tried to push me out Sunday morning but I so wasn't ready and asked to stay one more night. I was in a lot of pain still and to say I hadn't gotten the hang of breastfeeding was an understatement. By Monday I was much better.

Since you asked about after I had LO, it was 3 nights but I was in for 2 night before that too! It felt like forever. I had a dr appointment Friday afternoon, doctor decided to send me over for monitoring, a few hours later she decided to induce me but the induction took so long and baby was born Sunday morning. We went home Wednesday.

@bluestriped bee: Yep! With a midwife you can, at least in Canada. Your midwife will come to your house the next day, and then comes every couple of days after that... so it's similar care to being in the hospital :). It was great to be in my own bed!!

2 with DS, as per insurance standards for an uncomplicated vaginal delivery.
4 with DD. My DD was born in Austria and they really didn't care how long I stayed and never asked when I planned on leaving. I could have stayed a week if I wanted to. Everyone encouraged me to stay a few extra nights to rest and recover, so I did, but I was ready to go home after the first night.

With number 1 we went to the hospital around 9pm and she was born the next day around 2. We stayed one night after that. With #2 we were in the hospital for a total of 23 hours.

1 night; Went in at 7 am for induction, 2:30 delivery and checked out 24 hours later. I think they would've had us stay 2 nights but we asked to leave earlier and there was no reason we had to stay.

2 - because my induction started at 5pm and I labored through the night until I delivered at 4am. Then I stayed the following night.

DD was born at 7am and we went home at 4pm. We could of left sooner but it took awhile to get my stitches. I loved not having to stay in the hospital and hope to go home again so soon after #2 if everything goes ok.

They were going to discharge us after 3 nights but then DD ended up having to go under the bili lights. So we ended up with an extra night.
I was 6 nights in the hospital from when I was admitted (long failed induction).

5 nights. Between stalled induction, c section and a short NICU stay. Induced Monday night, c section Tuesday night, left Friday morning. They told me I could have stayed till Saturday.
