I received 60 from LOs newborn shoot, about 35 from a fall mini shoot, and 130 from my maternity shoot... so I think it varies widely depending on the photographer. I think I expect at least 50, but usually more.
How many do you expect?

I guess it depends how much I paid. I would be unhappy with anything under 50 from a photoshoot though.

I've only had our engagement and wedding, and to be honest I didn't even think of how many to expect. We had over 800 from our wedding, so obviously that was a LOT.
I'd say around 50 plus would be a good number if you are doing more than one location/outfit. -
ideally, all of them! (not necessarily edited)

It depends on how long the photo shoot lasts, but at least 35.

I've only had one photoshoot, and that was my wedding. I got over 750 back from that!

I don't know what my expectations are really. But for a family photo shoot we did for the holidays, we got probably 40. And we narrowed it down to about 20 "favorites." The shoot was 1 hr long, with 2 outfits for the kids. I got many more in the past when it was just focused on one child, or just the 2 kids, etc. And the shoot was outdoors, complicating things (pond, bike prop, etc). But since we did not get rights to the images, any more photos, and I would have been broke after purchasing prints of all the shots I wanted!

It depends on the package and the photographer. But I also want all the pics even unedited ones
