@Mrs. Pen: DH got a job there but we left when he found a better job closer to family! I actually miss it a lot though and we want to try to visit sometime in the not so distant future (like a year or so).

@Mrs. Pen: We just loved everything. We're very much colder weather kind of people and we also loved the people and just everything! We thought we were going to be there a while and we almost bought a house up there in Big Lake!

@Mrs. Pen: We lived in Monticello when we lived up there. We wanted to buy a house in Maple Grove but it was so much more expensive and the house we almost bought in Big Lake was a great deal plus it was literally a two minute walk to the lake!
@boiledpnut: I grew up in the Greenville/Piedmont area but I've also lived in the Columbia metro for school.
