We usually run the dishwasher twice a day, but we generate a lot of dishes because we both work from home and pack breakfast and lunch for both kids. On a heavy cooking day we might even run it three times!

We don't have a dishwasher so I do everything by hand. I used to do them throughout the day but recently I changed my method and I only do them once at the end of the day. It's been working really well and I find them less annoying that way.

we usually run it every other day, but LO is only 6 months old (so not a lot of dishes), and i tend to hand wash a lot of stuff. habit from the years i lived without a dishwasher.

Once during the week and twice during the weekends since everyone is home and we cook everything like you guys.

We do ours usually once a day, or every other day. I put EVERYTHING in the dishwasher. Even things I know I shouldn't...crock pot? Sure! Toss it in there! We don't have any children, it's just the two of us.

@zippylef: dishes are my kryponite also! I would rather scrub 5 toilets then wash dishes by hand.
