We do two loads a day, so I guess that's 14 dishwasher runs a week. I feel like we are always doing the dishes... it's the one chore that always needs to be done!
How many times a week do you run the dishwasher?

Every other day unless we are out one day all day long then we can run it on the third day.

I run it every night, sometimes twice on the weekends. So, probably 10 times a week.

Once/twice maybe? We both WOHM with LO in daycare, and do most of the dishes by hand each night.

I run it at least once a day, at night. Some says I run it twice but only once or twice a week.

Once a day Sat and Sun, plus at least 2 times during the week.
I handwash all my pots and pans, so I would do more loads if the pots where in the dishwasher I am sure.

Haha, we don't have kids yet, and since we moved into our house in May, we've only used it as a dryer rack, even when we had dinner parties! I'm not sure why we haven't used it though...

Usually once a day! We really need to do twice a day.

We run it each night. It is almost always full by that point. We hand wash pots and anything wooden or decorative.
@mrbee: that seems like so many times a week! Is it a standard size, or smaller one?

@woodentulip: It's small, and so is our sink. So we have to do dishes twice a day, or the dishes pile up out of the sink!

I would say almost every day, maybe every other day during the week. For sure 6 times.

Currently, ZERO it's broken! so i'm handwashing...(which I prefer) but i HATE having no space for dishes to dry...

holy moly! That's a lot of runs! We run ours maybe twice a week at the most. But once a day if it's the weekend and we're home all day and we have guests.

Once every two weeks just to flush out the sitting water. It gets stinky! Yuck!

Probably 4 a week? But it's just the two of us. It'll probably be an every day thing once kids are in the picture.

I would say "most" nights... but maybe only 5-6 times per week if we eat at home a lot. We also handwash pots and pans.

Zero. No dishwasher for me. Technically we had one that was awkwardly placed away from the sink, near the kitchen dining area. It was old and we threw it away. Haven't replaced it yet, and 4 years later I want a new one. Hand washing is time consuming.

usually 7 times/once per day. Sometimes we skip a day of we go out to dinner and it isn't very full.
