I've been in 3. My brother's and good friend that I've known since preschool, and my sister's. My sister is having another wedding because her first was just a quickie and they want something bigger so his family can be there too, so I'll be in her wedding again in July. Does that count as 4?
I'm not the biggest fan of being in weddings. It's a lot of money and work, and I'd really only want to do it for my nearest and dearest, which luckily that's all I've done.

I've been in two, but I've helped plan and execute ceremonies/receptions. In another life, I'd be a wedding planner. I'm not creative or anything, just organized and enthusiastic.

I actually really want to be one, but hardly any of my friends are married.

I have been a bridesmaid 13 times and was flower girl once. I have also been a personal attendant a couple times. I think I'm done, there is a chance of 1 or 2 more, but hopefully I'm done!
I had a blast in all the weddings, but when it came time to choosing my bridesmaids there were a lot of hurt feelings, and I hated that part.

@Rubies: We should just go to NY. My sister's old roommate is a wedding planner there- they have some pretty expensive weddings! Plus we'd get to meet lots of hellobee girls

@jessiejo17: Wow, that's a lot! It's like 27 dresses. Do you have any bad dresses that you had to wear? You must have spent thousands of dollars to be in all those weddings! I just had family in my wedding, and it was a 30 person ceremony so obviously not a huge wedding party. It was pretty easy to tell my friends that they couldn't be bridesmaids though. With only 15 slots for my side of the family, they were happy enough just to be invited to the ceremony.

Ive been in 2? Once when I was young...a distant relative needed someone to be a bm so my cuz and I filled in. I believe she was from Korea getting married to a guy in the states and didn't know anyone. 2nd was bm to one of my bm. Supposed to be in another but things happened and I wasnt able to make it.

I've never been in a wedding None of my close friends or my sister are married yet. Well my best friend (who is DH's cousin) got married 2 weeks after us, but we agreed to not be in each other's wedding because we were so busy with our own. There's a chance for a few to happen soon though, so we'll see!

@artbee: haha the brides have been pretty nice, the only have a couple that were questionable. One was a haltered top in "lipstick pink" in a very conservative church. Halter tops and large boobs do not go well, I felt like a hooker in that dress and was so scared to walk down the aisle! I had another that came in too late so there was no time for alterations, it was falling down the whole time, not attractive either! haha

@tequiero21: Yes I consider several of them great friends, there were a couple I was surprised to be asked to be in, but overall it's people I'm still in contact with today. I have spent a ton of money on weddings, between dresses, gifts, showers, parties, ect. I'm too scared to add it all up!

@lilteacherbee: I've never been in a wedding either At least none other than my own! My sister eloped (but she got divorced so hopefully I'll be in her next wedding), one of my best friends has 5 sisters and her mom insisted she have only her sisters as attendants and my other friends aren't married yet.

Flower girl and junior bridesmaid as a kid, one for a college friend, one for a work friend, one for a cousin.
I didn't have a wedding party, so 5 in total. I have a frame with 6 openings and have the "girl" photos in there, it's one of my favorite momentos.

@artbee: Just one, and it was a black cocktail dress I got to pick out my own. I have a couple I have kept in case I need a formal gown, but all but 2 I have donated to a local prom drive for underprivileged youth! I figured they would make some younger girl happy!
