(Not sure where to put this?)
I am working on a baby book for DD. I've written everything in it as if I am writing it to her as a letter.
I want to include her birth story in the book. I think it should be real, but not so detailed it's something that will freak future her out lol. I'm not sure how much detail is too much? Obviously I didn't go in to all the bodily fluids and gross stuff like that lol, but I do talk about the pain and how dilated I was at various times. I tried to focus on how I felt (emotionally) rather than just put in a bunch of medical jargon, but the medical stuff is still there.
I want this to be something a 7 year old could read and not be traumatized, but also something DD can read as an adult when she is possibly having her own children.
How much detail would you include in a birth story meant for your child to read?
