I now alternate between 4 bags. I spent under $10 if I don't count the bags I already had.
Similac freebie backpack - gift
LV Wilshire GM - gift
XL striped beach bag - $7.99 at Ross
Large Hawaiian print bag (bought years ago on vacation) - $8?! Honolulu Wal-Mart

We were gifted the skip hop duo when I was pregnant and I used it a lot until LO was 15 months...but it was always too crowded and small for me. The exterior pockets were basically useless bc it would crowd the interior of the bag. The zipper broke so I didn't want to take it on my flight across the country. Also once LO dropped her morning nap and we started going out for several hours everyday I needed a sturdier big bag for our outings. I couldn't imagine using the duo if I was formula feeding bc I had no room as it was. So I patiently waited for my birthday and my husband bought me the danzo diaper bag as my gift.

This thread is making me realize I have too many diaper bags. I was gifted a Coach bag that I think was purchased for around $200. I also purchased another coach bag for about 180$ and the skip hip versa at BRU for about $50 after coupon. I recently bought the danzo hobo off my habit for approx $170

I have the new bugaboo bag. It was $99 and worth every penny.
I used a backpack for the first few months when I really needed to be as handsfree as possible and something that would work when I was using an ergo. But once the kids got older, it made me crazy to have to dig for stuff all the time. The bugaboo has pockets and zippers up the ying yang and even works well for cloth diapering and formula feeding twins. It's just designed really well and makes my life easier when we go out.

I bought a Kate Spade messenger type bag at the outlets for $150. It was a splurge but I figure If I wont be carrying my normal bag I want it to be nice.

Laessig. I think it was $50-60, but got it as a gift. We're still using it almost 3 years later!

Nothing! We use my old backpack from college (North Face brand). It has held up great as I graduated 7 years ago. LO is 9 months.

I bought a jj cole bag a babies r us for around $50. But then I bought the Danzo on my habit a couple weeks ago for $150 (retail $300). The jj cole was just too cramped and wouldn't have lasted as long once LO is older and I need to carry around more stuff. I'm glad I have it though since I can just fill it up and leave it at daycare.
