P didn't have that "good" initial growth due to severe tongue tie & food intolerances so she's gained about a lb per month from birth. At her 6 mths appt she weighed 12.4 lb and at 34 weeks (2 weeks shy of 8 mths) she weighed 14 lb even so still on her normal gain track.

We still nurse ALOT through the day though and she's not real fond of solids so she's getting a lot more calories than she may have if she was eating more solids & nursing less.

She doubled her weight exactly at 6 months (6lbs 12ozs to 13lbs9ozs) and last week at 8.5 months she is up to 14.4lbs according to our bathroom scale.

Hmmm. I am not sure.
I know that she has gained 7 lbs since she was born and has not yet doubled her birth weight.

I think she gained 2 pounds between the four month and six month check up.

Toddler X doubled his birth weight at 6 months. Then, from 6-12 months, Toddler X only gained 2lbs. But that still keeps him on his growth curve (his pediatrician uses the WHO charts).

You can look at the growth curves to see the slow down visually represented. They really flatten out after a little while.

Edited to add: Lala is tracking along in the 4th %ile. I think that's just who she is
