I know that it will differ greatly, but I really feel like we are getting scammed! Our insurance agent says that we have a really good rate, but I think its a load of bull! For DH and I, 2 cars, standard coverage, we pay $170/month.
We are both 24, so I know that next year when we are 25 it will drop a little, but still.....that seems ridiculous!

We pay around $2000/year for 2 cars. But they're both brand new cars and one is a SUV, which seems to have a higher premium!

For our 2 cars ('06 Chrysler Pacifica with a loan on it, so full coverage, and a paid off old '00 corolla with minimal coverage) we 180/month for 10 months a year and nothing for 2. Not sure why, but that's how amica does it. We're both over 25 & I don't have any moving violations or at fault accidents. If we registered them in the next town over, it would go up almost $1,000 per car for the year!

We have perfect driving records and insure an '02 Outback and an '12 Outback. We pay about $880 per year. We're both 29.

It depends what you consider "standard". In Texas we are only required to have $25K of coverage (ridiculous, I know!).
@MrsBrewer, that seems high to me for your state (I grew up there).
In Texas, with full coverage and limits at 100/300K for our two vehicles we pay about $1000/year. We both have clean driving records and our vehicles are an '08 and '11

For a newer SUV and a newer truck, we pay 650 every 6 months for full coverage for both. We both have clean driving records, and excellent credit.

We are 22 and 26. Right now, I'm not exactly sure what we pay for JUST car insurance, but for us we pay $157 a month for the following:
2001 BMW Sedan, Full Coverage
2008 Honda Civic SI Sedan, Full Coverage

I think we pay close to $2000 a year, and that's with a killer alumni discount from my university. I've heard that Ontario has really high insurance rates though, so maybe that's part of it. We have 2 cars - a 1997 (ancient) Honda, and a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe.

@redsmarties: I think we get screwed in Ontario. We pay $180/month for our 2 cars. We're both over 25, and clean driving records. My friend in Quebec pays what seems like close to nothing!!! I think she said $600 a year???

About 1200 a year for a 2012 Subaru Legacy. The coverage is quite extensive, though. I did get a 150 dollar discount on the homeowners policy for bundling the car & homeowners insurance together.
