How much do you personally read, not including reading to your LO. I feel like I either read WAY more than other people or WAY less...some people I know read over 100 books a year, how?! So I'm just curious how much you all read, and where do you find the time?

Pre-baby I read a LOT - every day - and always bought new books. Now, with baby, the only time I have to read for leisure is before I go to bed but it'll only be for a few minutes as I'm often too tired. But I think I read an average amount in comparison to others. I wish I could read more!

I used to read a lot when I had to commute on the train for 2 hours a day. I read a book a week maybe? Now I am more sporadic.

I don't read very much anymore. I used to before LO... but now my priorities are not reading. My mom is one of those who reads like 3 books in one week, sometimes more. It's crazy.

@Rubies: That's my fear that when baby comes no more reading for me, I'm not an avid reader normally but I've been on a reading kick lately reading a book or two a week. Better get it in while I can

according to good reads I've read 55 books this year, 16,613 pages. Like others, I read if I take the train, but I also read for about 30 minutes in bed. I had insomnia when I was younger and used to read when everybody else was asleep, so I am a very fast reader, and have actually started and finished a 300+ page book in less than 4 hours.

Last year I read 115 books but this year I'm going at a much slower pace. I doubt I will make it to 50. I read pretty fast but I have less time this year.

Last year I read around 30 books. I hope to read 100 this year... I've been reading the classics again.

Last year I read close to 100 books. This year, not so much. I try to get some reading time in before bed... about a half hour or so. I also listen to audio books on my commute.

I read a lot before my son was born, I could finish a book in 2 days with the commuting time and reading before bed. Now, I probably have 5 books in progress and will probably read only about 25 this year.
I don't read fiction, just non-fiction, I find I really have to pay attention otherwise I lose the plot. It's more important to me to have understood the book than to have finished it quickly.

Disclaimer: I don't have kids, so I think that makes a big difference.
I've had my Nook since October 2010 and it has 200 books (that I've read, not including samples of things I didn't finish). I go in spurts. Sometimes I'll go a whole month without finishing a book and other times I'll read a bunch of books back to back. Lately I've been reading a lot and I think I'll read over lunch today in attempt to finish another book!

I guess I read a lot less than people, but I probably watch a lot more TV, haha. I tend to only read while my husband is watching sports, haha. Last year I read ~20 books, though this year I think I'll read more. I've read 16 already, though I tend to slow down during the summer.

I think I read more than the average person. 10-12 books a month, occasionally more. Plus hours a day researching online. I don't have kids yet though, so I have a lot of time.

I read 2-3 books a month depending on length and available time. I typically make it a point to read during LO's naps and before my bedtime. I read pretty fast, which also makes a difference.

I read about a book a week right now, sometimes more sometimes less depending on how I'm feeling.
I read an hour every day over my lunch break, and usually a 1/2 hour or so at night in the bathtub or before bed.

I used to read a lot when I first got my kindle. Then I was busy with school. I am reading Hunger Games again before the movie comes out.
