It typically takes me about a month to read a book, not that I have a LO. Unless it's a really interesting book, then it can take me just a few days. So I average about a book a month, sometimes two.

It depends on the book or story. I could not finish the "50 Shades of Grey" series and I borrowed the entire series from my BFF for 6 months. LOL I finished the 1st book and part of the 2nd.

@Kimberlybee: I couldn't even finish the first one, and I love bad, trashy novels! I wanted to throw the book across the room every time she referred to his vagina as "down there"!
I can read very fast...I used to be able to finish books in one or two sittings, but I've fallen off a lot since having LO. Now I usually only read in the tub, so it's limited to 30-45 minutes at a time, if that. Still probably 3 or 4 books a month.

@lovehoneybee: This line would also annoy me "he touched my sex" referring to foreplay. She used it a few times in the first book. It was not my type of trashy romance novel at all. A friend told me her writing gets better with the later novels but I can not finish the series at all. I will wait for the movie.

I normally can read 3-5 books a week, what with LO here. In 2012 I read 275 books, pre-LO.

Does reading Hellobee count? I don't get a chance to read books very much anymore. I should borrow some ebooks from the library once baby arrives.

I have reading assignments for night classes, so that curtails my reading "for pleasure" but generally, I can get through a few non-class books a month on top of any books or chapters I need to read. Plus newspapers, magazines. And HB, of course!
