I haven't ordered pizza for delivery in years! i just did it online which was weird in itself..and there was a $3.50 delivery charge. How much is the going tip rate on top of that? I remember in the past I used to tip $1-2, but I am sure it is more now.

The delivery charges goes to the company so i tip about $5 on top of that.

$5-$7. My husband was a Pizza Hut delivery boy in college, and they make NO money. Less than minimum wage. They are out in gross weather, and deal with rude people all day. Lots of people don't even tip at all. I figure the least I can do is give them $5.

thanks, i ended up tipping $4 because I only had a $10 bill and had to ask for change. I think if i had exact change, i would have handed off $3, lol.

3 or 4 dollars. It's pretty ridiculous that the delivery charge doesn't go toward the drivers. I believe it only covers part of the milage.

I had this dilema the other day and Google told me that they should get about 15%. I gave closer to 20%, though, cause I'm not gonna worry about exact change!

Usually $2-3. But we don't have two tier minimum wage here, so delivery drivers etc. are getting paid the same wage as anybody else in service professions.

So glad we don't have all this tipping business in England, I think the delivery man would be confused if I gave him anything!
