Just curious. Do you tip a percentage (like 15%, 20%) or a set number of dollars?
ETA: what would you tip for $25 worth of food? $50?

We tip 20%. No idea if that's right. I think my dad always just tipped a dollar growing up.

Usually $4-5. I don't like smashed pizza!

I tip a couple dollars. We don't have very big orders though.

$2-3, they are usually coming less than 5 minutes and always a large pizza and wings. We also very rarely get delivery. Call me cheap, but I don't see how the person delivering food is providing the same level of service as the waitstaff at a restaurant. At a restaurant we will always tip ~20% depending on level of service. sometimes more for exceptional service or if we're a large group or if DD2 was particularly messy.
@Ree723: yes! A lot of places around here automatically add a $3 delivery charge.
@pinkcupcake: if I was getting a big order delivered for a party, I would definitely tip more!

When we lived in NYC and used seamless web I just went with the default tip which was around 15%. Now that I'm in the burbs I give a minimum of $5 but will tip more of the order is larger. We rarely get food delivered though!

We usually add 5 dollars on top of the delivery charge that is already included. We rarely do delivery anymore since it generally adds 10 bucks to our order. DH just drives the 2 minutes to pick it up.

There is no delivery charge, so we usually do 20%. But most of the time we pick it up ourselves.
