@TheSwissWifeStyle: exactly! Service in Switzerland is absolutely terrible...it's one thing the Swiss don't seem to worry about. I usually left coin change, whatever I had in my wallet. If the service was extraordinary, I would let the manager know.

18% at a casual place, and more if it's a nicer place or if the service was just exceptional!

15%. More if the service was great, less if the service was bad. I never leave no tip, just low tips.
