@WinnieBee - Yay for small babies! I'm kind of anxious about L's 4 month dr appt because I want her to stay at least in the same percentile as she was before (12th). I know I shouldn't worry because she's happy and healthy and hitting milestones, but I can't help it!!

My LO was barely 15lbs at her 9 mths appt. She is, however, still on the chart at 3rd percentile...whoooppie!!!!!

@winniebee-- wow, our kids are so similar. My daughter was born at 5lb 5oz and weight 11lb 9oz at her 4 mths appt too!! What a coincidence!

@highwire : hang in there! Our LO lost a whole lb too his first week... From 7 lbs 13oz to 6 lbs 13oz. I was so worried too! He's a giant chubber now though at just under 20 lbs at 6 months.

@winniebee: Reading your post made me feel better! My LO was in the 4-5th percentile the week after she was born and at her two month check up she was up to the 10-15th percentile. She is exactly 4 months old today!!! and weighs just over 11 lbs. She has gotten so much bigger to us but to everyone else she is just tiny. She eats a ton and even though she is small she is still chubby So I guess I shouldn't worry but it's hard not to! We go in for her 4 month check up on Tuesday

@lemong: I try not to get hung up on percentiles since he's a different percentile depending on what chart you look at...but then last month when he jumped to the 20th percentile for height I got excited of course : )
@lollipop: That is too funny! My son was 13 lbs, 4 oz at 6 months - he has an appt. next week and I'm guessing he'll be around 14 lbs. With the exception of the first 2 months (where he gained 2 lbs per month) he has gained about a pound a month.
@aMohror: That's great she is a good eater! My son has a chubby face and has a few thigh rolls...and a few wrist bracelets....but he is like SOLID everywhere else. He's not destined to be a fat baby, but that's ok : )

10+ months and today we went to the GI. He is 18 lb 1 oz. He was 18 lb 8 oz at 9 months. He lost half a pound if not more (because we all know that he gained weight - then lost them all last week).
He was throwing up on Thurs Fri and Sat, then he is eating very very little for almost a week now. We blame it on teething and possibly a virus. GI and nutritionist said not to worry but how do you not worry when your 10 month old is losing weight?

DS is 8 and I think last time he was weighed he was about 44lb & is 49 in currently (well last month).
DD is another long & lean (petite) baby. At 34 weeks, almost 8 months, she's 14lb and 26.25in.
I keep track of her growth because her pedi has given me quite a bit of flack about her being low on the percentiles. Mind you we had alot of feeding issues the first 3.5 months that thankfully didn't completely inhibit her weight gain but definitely slowed it & she has still consistently gained since getting them resolved. This last weighing made me SUPER happy that she's now at 4.5% (almost "normal" range") for her weight and 27.4% for her height. Hopefully she'll have another good gain month & her I won't hear anything at her 9 month appt. lol

DS1 is 5 and 44lbs. He is in the 30% percentile. He's always been around that. He is in the 97% for height.
DS2 is 6 months and 17lbs. He has been in the 25% but just jumped to the 37% he is also in the 90th for height.
We have 2 tall skinny boys
My nephew is 20 months and 20lbs. He has now fallen off of the charts. However, you wouldn't describe him as skinny. He has the best roundest face ever.

LO went to the doctor yesterday because she's been fussyso I thought I'd update. She's now 17 lb, 3 oz at 20 weeks and a little above the 90th percentile. She's super long too though and chubby in all the right places.

she was last weighed at 5.5 months and was just under 17lbs. She had little chicken legs for so long but now has so many cute little baby fat rolls, I love it!
