My lo had a thin layer of hair when she was born. Now at 4 months old, she has a mohawk. She lost all the hair on the side of her head and has a tiny bit growing in the middle. I'm wondering when she'll get more hair. (Don't get me wrong, I do love the mohawk! )

My daughter is 19 months and still lacks hair! It is definitely finally starting to fill in so I hope she will have a full head of hair by the time she is 2? Lol.

charlie had a lot of hair when he was born. it all fell out when he was around 2-3 months old. grew up by the time he was 5 months old, and he's had a lot of hair since!

Our LO isn't born yet, but I was born with a full head of hair that fell out and grew back in around 1 year old. I was a month early and had this gorgeous red hair that I lost and it came back blond. Apparently that has been known to happen with preemies--I really have no idea, but my newborn pic proves the red
DH was born bald and didn't have hair until he was 2--I really hope our little girl gets hair before then!

My SIL was bald until she was like 2! DS had some hair when he was born, but it fell out, and then he pretty much had a head of hair at 6 months.

It's interesting how so many babies are different. My LO isn't having trouble growing hair... except on the sides. I guess I'll just have to wait and see when that part starts growing in.

Like Mrs. Bee, my LO was born with a head full of fluffy hair. He lost a majority of it within 2-3 months, and he had so many bald spots. Poor kiddo. Around 6 months the hair started growing back in, and I'm hoping he won't go through another stage of hair loss any time soon.

My LO isn't here yet but on last week's ultrasound you could see his locks flowing in the amniotic fluid! lol
I was born with a full head of thick red hair. It never fell out and is still really thick and very red. Wondering if LO will have my color... guess I'll find out this week!

My DD had quite a lot of dark brown hair when she was born & then most of it fell out slowly & now blonde hair is growing in. She has quite a bit now, but it's super fine & fluffy! I think it's adorable. A girl I know who has a baby who is 3 months older then my daughter, 10 months old now, has a TON of thick, dark hair....it's amazing! She's been wearing it in pigtails since she was 2 months old!!

@rachiecakes: I was hoping for a red head. My mom and her whole family are full of red heads, but none of her kids got it. I was hoping it might have skipped a generation... but no such luck. Maybe the next one!

LO was born with a nice layer of soft hair but now at 4.5months, it's all fallen out and she has cute peach fuzz. It looks like it wants to grow back, though...I hope she grows nice, thick hair like mine (although, I didn't grow hair until I was 2!)

Liv was born with a full head of hair and none of it fell out. She got the usual bald spot in back and a little thinning on the sides from rubbing her head back and forth. But now at 4.5 months old, the "new" hair is growing in underneath and its looking blonde. Which is weird bc neither of us are blondes lol

@LivsMama: I was kind of worried that my LO would be blonde because my hubby was when he was a kid. Not that I have anything against blondes, I just wanted her to have dark brown hair like me and my husband so she would look like us.

1. Her hair in it's natural state.
2. After getting six inches cut off and flat ironed for her birthday.
3. When she was about 12 hours old in the NICU
Everyone asked me if I had major heartburn and I didn't. You could seriously braid her hair when she was born. All of the nurses were just amazed.

@artbee: Im not too worried about it, jsut perplexed. he has light brown hair. Im italian with dark brown hair and eyes. Her eyes are sky blue and her hair is getting lighter lol. shes a spititng image of him though, so it is what it is I guess

Our little girl had a ton of hair when she was born. that was the thing people commented on the most when they saw her. She got a slight mohawk thing going on for a while but she never lost a whole lot. 3 years later she still has a bunch of hair.

I don't have kids yet but I was born with a head full of dark hair and it all fell out and I was pretty much bald until I was about 1. My parents were starting to worry it was never going to grow back!
