Not sure where to put this, but thought you'd find it amusing. I know the family

Was your son/daughter born with a full head of hair? If so, feel free to share pics! Mine was....NOT. Mostly bald until 1 or so.

DS1 had a lot of hair when he was born, but nothing like this baby
DD had dark hair, but not a lot of it
DS2 had a little bit of blonde hair

I was born with so much hair they gave my mom a brush set at the hospital... I'm the dark haired baby in the bottom right corner

Lots of hair for my girls. #2 had the most but I had way more than any of them when I was born. The nurses nicknamed me Rughead.

When she was born, the nurses brought her back from her initial tests with her hair in a mohawk. She had SO much hair. The US tech could even see it at 30 weeks. Both my husband and I were bald babies. I did have terrible heartburn!! The old ladies were right!!
I expected and brown-haired brown eyed baby. Blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair is what popped out.

That is so cute! My son had a lot of hair - not as much as that baby but enough that we got lots of comments!

Edit: added a picture. First no the left and second kid on the right... I am a very consistent person... I like doing compare pics on my IG haha

E wasn't born with much hair. J was born with a lot of hair. J is the top picture. E is the bottom one.

Both my boys were born bald. My first didn't need a haircut until he was 19 months old, and even then, we probably could have waited longer

She had a layer of fine hair all over her little head, but nothing like that baby!

DD was born with a lot in the back, but it was fairly sparse on top by comparison! She lost a lot also but it's growing in fairly thick now at 1 year.

I had a baldie, and at 9mo she still mostly is! I was born with a head full of dark hair that fell out and became the craziest blonde hair ever. It was so fine and light it stood straight out for years. People accused my mom of trying to give me a perm.

Weston has what I thought was a full head of hair until I saw some of these pictures! It's enough hair that the ultrasound tech saw it at 34 weeks and it's what everybody comments on, though.

Loads! And it even had highlights! She's four months old and I've already had to cut it. DH and I were both born with lots, too! The order in the picture is DH, DD, and me!

Yep... This is my Dd2, born with a full head and it's only getting crazier !

D had a ton; A not so much. Which sucks, because I totally could have put bows in his hair, but definitely can't in hers.

My first had a lot of hair but it was typical newborn like hair. My second was pretty bald and still doesn't have much at 15m!
My sisters son had crazy hair when born. Like the first photo posted!

Love these photos. My nephew had so much hair when he was born. My son... Not so much!

So many cuties!
@Charm54: I was hoping you'd chime in. Your los hair makes me smile every time!
Eta: my lo had more hair than I thought she would but the nurses kept calling her baldy. But I was shiny bald so I wasn't expecting hair at all!

Ds had a little bit at birth and people comment on it now at 8 months but it's NOTHING like these babies!!! So much hair!!!

Both myself and DS had a lot of hair at birth (though mine was bright red).
Here's my mom with me and with J.

@Chillybear: So cute!
I voted yes but it wasn't that full. Once his head started to grow he looked like a balding middle aged man

Both of my girls had full heads of hair when they were born, but neither of them had anything on me when I was born! I needed a haircut at 8 weeks old because my hair was so long and thick, it had grown past my eyes!
I don't have one of my baby pictures on here, but DD1 is the top picture, at 24 hrs old, and DD2 is the bottom picture at about 12 hours old.

DD was pretty much bald her whole first year. Her hair only really started to grow when she turned 2!

these are so amazing!
lo1 he had so much black hair they gave him a Mohawk too at his first bath, now he still has a ton but it's medium brown like mine
lo2 little bald baby (he was fuzzy) and he's finally getting a little at 9mo but he's so much lighter
pear / 1521 posts
Full head of dark hair, you can see how long it was in the back in this pic! It never fell out but it got way lighter.
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
That's some news anchor worthy hair!! I'll come back and add my pic of DS shortly. He had a head full of hair when he was born but that kid puts him to shame. It all fell out eventually but now at 2 he has thick, fast growing hair!
Edit: added.

I don't have a hairy baby just yet, but I am expecting one in the next few weeks. At our last ultrasound this week, the tech made a comment and showed us the ultrasounds and a 3D image of the hair. My husband and I were both hairy babies, so it wasn't really unexpected. I'm loving the pictures of the cute hairy babies. I can't wait!

I keep looking at that first picture. Is it just me, or does that look like someone photoshopped Hugh Jackman's hair onto a newborn's face?
Here's D as a newborn.
