DD 2 is 2.5m and gets one 2-3 hr nap and probably 2-3 cat naps around 30 minutes. At night she typically gets 8-10 hrs.

baby is almost 6 months. 2.5-3hrs of naps (usually over 3 naps, sometimes 2) and 11-12 hrs at night.

I'm so jealous of the both of you. LO is 2 months and will only have 30 min naps, and at night sleeps about 2 hour stretches. Most often she wakes up every hour.

@Pumpkin Pie: that is exactly how my first was!!! The only reason #2 sleeps more is because of the swing. #1 hated the swing! And oh, that's totally overnight, she doesn't sleep that long of a stretch!

@regberadaisy how/when did you LO1 grow out of that sleep pattern? I keep hoping everyday she'll sleep better, but at 8 weeks it's still the same. I don't know how to teach her to sleep!!

9 weeks and he sleeps about 8-9 hours at night (in 3 and 2 hour stretches) and then like five 30 minute cat naps. Death to these cat naps, man. I can't get anything done or 'sleep when the baby sleeps'.

@Littlebit: feel you on the 30 minute naps girl!
DS is 7 months. Typically 11 hours over night. Often with a wake up around 5 to nurse. Then two naps a day. Just the last week they have started to be longer than 30 mins. So averaging about 2 hours of naps a day.

DD is 9.5 months and sleeps 11 hours at night and about 3 hours during the day. Lately it's been a long nap in the morning and shorter in the afternoon. I'm so thankful she is sleeping well now! Birth to 5.5 months were brutal! Hang in there!

2 weeks and sleeps alllll the time. Unless I'm trying to get something done then she's up and ready!

@Pumpkin Pie: newborn sleep is crazy. but one thing that helped me was to not rush in at every noise. at each waking, we would wait a few minutes before getting baby. sometimes he'd go back to sleep and sometimes not, but I think it helped.

8 months, and sleeps usually 3-4 hours of naps a day, and about 11 hours overnight, 7-6. Its glorious and I consider myself the luckiest mum in the world

11 months, so an old baby, but she sleeps about 11-14 hours at night and takes 3 hours worth of naps a day.

Almost 11 weeks. Gives me 2 4-5hour naps during the day, and sleeps about 7 hours at night.
