How much is your pizza order?

Last time was $50 for a large 4 topping pizza (which we reheat in the oven for later meals) 20 wings and spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread for lo. That was more than usual but lo really wanted the pasta so whatever. Plus tip. Usually we order a medium pizza and wings so it's a bit less. We rarely (less than once a year) will order from a bigger chain place and that's always cheaper too but not by much.

We usually get spend about $20 for two pizzas. What we order will depend on specials.

I am seriously surprised by the number of people that order wings. I've seen them on menus but I've never seen someone order wings with pizza.

$12 if we're slumming it from the cheap delivery place, $30+ if we're treating ourselves to the excellent local delivery place.

    Depends where we get it!

The local authentic Italian pizza place with a fire stone oven is about $9/pizza for a small that serves two people, so we typically get two and a side salad and the price is typically $25. (They don't deliver)

Papa murphys take and bake is $13 for a family size and we typically use a coupon, for awhile we had coupons for $5 large pizzas haha. So it was definitely cheap to eat pizza.

Sometimes I'll order sarpinos but only if they have a good special- cause they're more expensive and can easily get up to $40 with a side of bread or wings.
I LOVE wings, but if I want wings I get them from Buffalo Wild Wings- not a pizza place!

@Mrs. Pen: well, you know where I'm from so every other pizza joint has good wings.

@Corduroy: we almost always get wings if people are over. But sometimes to save money we won't. But we live in the birth place of the (buffalo) wings.

We're a big pizza and wing city! We never ever buy from national chains! Blegh!

@Mrs. Pen: we didn't either until we found some wings we really liked! I don't eat the spicy ones anymore but his place w as the first place we found where they *actually* tasted both spicy and like real chicken!

We don't order out pizza anymore. Celiac disease will do that to you. 😢 we make our own. 2 pizza crust $7.00, 1 jar of sauce $3.50, ham from deli $2.00, mushrooms $1.69. So a little more then $14 for 2 pizzas. Not too bad for us.

Wow, this is interesting! I guess we are outliers - we only get pizza from what I suppose you'd call gourmet pizza places (think goat cheese with potato and chorizo) and 2 large pizzas comes out to close to $50. That feeds the four of us a dinner and DH and I lunch the next day.

A large cheese and a bottle of soda that's delivered is $25 including too. It's ridiculous!

@MrsRcCar: oh bummer! A lot of pizzerias near me offer gluten free pizza now. Hope it hits your way soon!

@iluvboba637: haha my fam is visiting this weekend so there's a good chance they're going to want pizza and wings.

We order pizzas from our local pizza shop that uses a wood burning oven. They offer lots of vegan and GF options, which is a must for our family with food allergies. They also try to source as many local ingredients as possible. Two pizzas can easily cost $30. One of the best things is that my LO can eat a vegan cheese pizza safely. It's a big deal for us. Also I love their pizzas so much that other pizzas don't even compare. Doesn't hurt that the shop is owned and operated by my neighbor.

When we order out, it's $10 plus tax for a super supreme. We pick up.

We rarely go out and eat pizza unless our friend's recommend it, but we usually split the bill.

Like $15ish. We usually get a large specialty and typically have some sort of coupon. And DH always picks it up to avoid delivery fees/tips. We like wings but don't really eat them with pizza.

Usually around $30+. And that's just for the 2 of us. The kids don't really eat delivery pizza yet.

@MrsRcCar: Do you have a mellow mushroom nearby? They do GF pizza. There's a local restaurant nearby that does GF pizza also so you might be able to find some of you ask around!

@jhd: haven't seen a mellow mushroom since I have been back from vacation. there is a place 30 minutes that apparently does a celiac friendly pizza, but N loves making pizza with me.

We don't have any mom and pop pizza places around us, but now I wish we did!

We usually get a large pizza (half with 2 toppings for DH, half with 2 toppings for me), 6 wings, and an order of breadsticks for around $20.

Usually around $23 or so? We get a large pizza with some sort of toppings from a local place.

We're in the Chicago burbs, so it really depends where we order from. Tonight we got frozen pizzas from Target

If we order deep dish for 4-5 ppl when my family is in town, it can be $50 easily.

Depends on where we order from but under 30 for sure. We often get Papa Murphys for 14..

2 large w/ 1-2 toppings each runs us about $35 at our favorite local pizza place.

We always order from a local shop. A large with a few toppings plus delivery and tip is $23, feeds the two of us for dinner plus lunch the next day. Since I've been pregnant we have ordered an embarrassing amount. And it's down the street but we still have it delivered. We always say we will make a salad with it ("make"= mix salad greens with premade dressing) and end up being too lazy for that.

We have only ordered wings with pizza maybe 3-4 times ever? Only when we have people over. Funny I didn't realize it was such a thing.

Eta: it only feeds the two of us because LO won't eat pizza. Makes no sense but whatever. So we have it delivered after she is in bed and we can eat in front of the tv in peace.

@regberadaisy: We ordered pizza tonight! DH has gone to go get it (it's about 3 min away) and I opened up hellobee to kill a couple minutes, lol!
We order a large Canadian and it's around $17.

Around $40 give or take, always from a local place. At work when we order from chains it is much much cheaper but not very tasty.

  27. Mamasig

    pomegranate / 3565 posts

Probably between $35-$40? That includes a specialty pizza, two topping, breadsticks, and cheese. There is enough for leftovers.

Most places near us offer gluten free crust now, even Dominos, but GF is so expensive! It's like $10 for a small plain cheese pizza. DH usually orders a large with toppings and I get plain cheese GF and add my own toppings. We also get a dozen wings. So it adds up to $40 plus, usually, which isn't absolutely horrible, it's usually 2 dinners and a lunch.

$30 local pizza, just one large speciality pizza.
