I create gmail filters. That way if I do think of something I want to buy I can just go into the folder it's been filtered into and look through for deals. For instance, if we have a date night coming up, I'll go into the folder and look through all the groupons, livingsocial deals, etc.

I filter everything (deal sites, company newsletters, etc) into the TRASH folder. That way it'll automatically delete and I don't have to deal with clearing out the folder.

I find unsubbing to be annoying because some sites just won't do it.

ETA: I use "filter messages like these". Almost as simple as deleting the message!

i feel like almost all of my email is junk =( although i do frequently buy 'junk' from groupon, amazon, etc that send me junk mail, so i guess it's working out for them =D i'm not very good about emptying my email/unsubscribing from things, i should work on that!

I get tons of junk mail. I just delete it. Filters sound like a good idea though.

I get a ton. Every morning I wake up to about 15 emails. 12 are spam.
