I've started pumping 1x a day to build a freezer stash in case of emergencies. I pump 5 oz a day, and I currently have 60 oz from the second 1/2 of April in the freezer. I'm planning to keep pumping because it doesn't take long and my supply is adjusted to it, but I don't have a deep freezer or really any need for so much extra milk because I'm a SAHM.

I'm planning to start donating through Human Milk 4 Human Babies, but I also want to keep some in the freezer for backup. How much should I keep? I was thinking I might pump for a month, then donate the previous month's supply? So would ~120 oz be a good emergency supply? Or would less be enough (60 oz?).

Just trying to figure it all out so I make sure my baby has enough on reserve without going overboard. I'd love to help out a mama who could really use the milk.
