We have a lot of natural light and we also have skylights. It gets really hot sometimes, though, on super sunny days!

We have a TON--we have a corner unit on the 6th floor, facing west and south. It was one of the must-haves when we were looking for an apartment. We moved from a brownstone that had not much natural light, and I realized that I"m just a happier person when I get lots of sunshine!

Not enough. It's not depressingly dark but I open all the blinds every day. We have dark hardwood floors dark cabinets. The people who remodeled our house last didn't add ceiling lights to the living room or master bedroom so we had to buy quite a few lamps. I love natural light in houses though, definitely a must for my next house!

We get a lot of natural light. It is important to have a place with a lot of natural light here since it's overcast for so many months in the year.

Tons!! Basically, the whole front and back of the house is covered in windows, so we get either morning or afternoon sun all day. It's such a contrast from when we lived in the townhouse. There, it was north facing, the windows were indented in the wall and they were tiny!! Had to have the lights on most of the time. I'm so much happier with sunshine!

our apartment is south facing, so we get tons of sunlight, but not direct. it was one of the draws of this apartment. even still, our apartment gets steaming hot in the summer even with our shades down.

We get lots of sunlight. We're on the 17th floor with a view of Tokyo Bay, so we get so much light in the morning and early afternoon. We have blackout curtains in our room and LO's room but I open all the curtains during the day.

A lot. So much that I have to close the windows upstairs because it's way too sunny. In our bedroom there's a double layer of protection: pull down blinds and blackout curtains. We wouldn't be able to stay asleep otherwise. The sun's out at 3:30am to 10:30pm during the summer (that's when it is actually sunny).

TONS! windows in every room except guest baths... and a two floor great room with tall high windows. i love how bright it is in our house esp during the summer~

We have hardly any and honestly it depresses me A LOT. If I'm already feeling down about something, the lack of light in my house makes it exponentially worse.

On our lower level we have ONE window, because the rest of the townhouse is behind the garage. And the lightbulbs there were in when we moved in SUCK. lol they're so yellow and icky light.
Our upper level has three windows, once in each bedroom and it's definitely a lot lighter because there is more access to sun, whereas the bottom level window is blocked by all the other townhouses.

It's such a pain. And I hate it. But we'll be moving soon, hopefully we find something with more light.

We have a lot and I loooove it! At our apartment we had hardly any coming in, but now that we bought and are living in out house, we have all the blinds open all the times and we hardly have to turn on any lights. Plus on our upper level, I want to turn our den into my "crafting area" and I want DH to put in a couple skylights for me

A lot, we have tons of big windows. One of my favorite parts of the house.

We have lots of windows, but I usually keep the blinds down. Don't like peoPle looking in..
