I checked our airlines website and it doesn't say how much milk we can bring on the flight. Is there a limit? I plan to bring some for t in a cool bag. Maybe 2 sippy cups worth.
Thanks!

How long is your flight? I'm just bringing water.

@locavore_mama: we have a 1.5 your drive, one hour flight, a one hour layover, and another 1.5 hour flight. And then a 1 hour drive on the other end. It's a long day. I'm guessing there will be a 7-11 nearby or something but I definitely need to bring one cup of milk for that length of time since I don't breastfeed.

@winniebee: what about buying milk in the airport? I have heard that Sbux gives out free whole milk???

@locavore_mama: Santa Fe airport has no terminal but I'm sure our connection does. But we only have an hour and I don't want to be stressed trying to find some place with whole milk (this has happened before). So I really have to brig some.
Basically I'm wondering if there is a limit on liquids that can be brought on board for baby.

@winniebee: I have heard yes on these boards!
Declare larger liquids. Medications, baby formula and food, and breast milk are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint. Officers may need to open these items to conduct additional screening.

@winniebee: you can really bring as much as you want. I took 20oz plus an open water sippy cup and they just waved a little strip over everything to see if there was something dangerous inside. I was really surprised at how easy it was to take liquids through!!

No limit. Bring the whole milk by Horizon, in juice box format. Doesn't require refrigeration.
I wouldn't bank on Starbucks giving out free anything, lol.

So I brought 2 sippys and then one horizon. They did the strip test over the milk and his water and then because thre horizon wasn't opened they had to do a thorough search if my bags and pat me down! Or we could have opened then horizon and tested it but it would have defeated the purpose of the whole no refrigeration thing. Turns out T barely wanted any milk today. Oh well!
